I think Suo viewed himself going to Furin as just a mission at the beginning --but now Makochi became his new freedom or carefree life he never would've thought existed for him.

Don't get me wrong, red Chanpuru seems like a peaceful/harmonious place but -- Suo always had a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, so Makochi is a breath of fresh air in terms of of getting to live his life a normal mature teenager he actual is ( still a teenager nonetheless)

Side note, if we get Sakura having trouble sleeping cuz self-deprivation or questioning his friendship with suo .... Someone hug him pls

Tbh with how this manga/anime is it would take a lot more than Suo (probably) mild but painful slaps to put Nirei in the hospital.

Think about it, side npc enemies are still in one piece of what should've been lethal hits irl from either (bofurin, Shishi, Ropo, We ain't talking about Chika, etc.)

You would these people are made out of minerals, fiberglass, rubber or just straight pokemon.
