It was a miracle that they didn’t drown. “My head is spinning a little. But I’ve been through worse.”

     “I suppose not,” he agreed, but he couldn’t help the bright smile that tugged his lips upwards. “I am sorry for your ordeal, but I must admit it is so very good to see you again! Its been years, here. Would you like to have a bit of a rest? There’s some spare clothes in my cabin...although I’m afraid we didn’t pack any lady’s clothing.”

Hiatus Notice : Summer School

I’m working at a summer school until Thursday, and my hours are 7am-11pm each day, and I am on call overnight. Naturally, I won’t have time to be here! I’ve queued a few replies, but most are still in my drafts. Thank you for your patience.

“Avra is my favourite one of the islands,” Lilliandil bit her bottom lip and began to look a little NERVOUS. “Us marrying will not put your throne at risk will it? I hope there’s not some odd ritual for King’s to marry, is there?”

        “Avra,” he nodded, vaguely wondering how long it would take for the small island to prepare for such an occasion. But his attention was quickly focused back on the present when he noted Lilliandil’s look of nerves, and his own brow furrowed in concern. 

“Oh! No, no, not that I know of,” he assured her, his smile returning. “In fact, us marrying would only secure the throne. If we were to have children...” he trailed off, as he realised that was one important factor they’d yet to discuss. “Would you like children?”
