It is pretty strange! I really didn't expect my bottle to come back. Maybe lady Fate has a plan for us? god that sounded creepy im so sorry And yes, I really am on a boat right now. But I think I'm close to land-- I should be. I checked where I was not too long ago and I seem to be on track.
I do come on land! But not often. Because sailing to places takes a mighty long time, you see! I can't afford a plane ride and flying cars don't exist yet. When I arrive at my destination, I'll surely drink some milk and eat some oranges. You are correct-- after eating biscuits for weeks now, I'm starting to get tired of them.
And is that supposed to be a picture of me? I'm certainly not malnourished and skinny! I'm quite big-boned and I do have some meat on me.
Well, it was cute either way! And what's this device you're going on about? Whatever it is-- I wish you the best of luck on fixing it.
Hm... what am I looking for? I suppose... I want to belong to somewhere. Does that count? Also the thrill of adventuring every day is absolutely wonderful.
Oh-- I see land! I'll continue this letter when I get settled and everything. Brrr, it sure is cold here!"
The bottle had ended up near his boat again. It was the exact same bottle he had launched out into the deep blue some time ago-- he couldn't remember. Being out in the ocean for so long caused him to lose track of how many days had passed. Jongin was quick to open and retrieve the letter, snatching a page from his book and a pen. He jotted down quick replies to the man's questions and comments on whatever else he mentioned.
"I feel so dizzy and sick and here I am writing to you. I was gonna continue this letter right after I finished docking my boat but things happened.
I’m stuck in Russia right now. It’s cold and I’m sitting in the park freezing my bum off because I can’t afford a room in an inn. Sure, the place is beautiful. But it’s so cold. And I guess some person heard me complaining about the weather so he offered me a drink that would keep me warm.
My Russian isn’t that good, so I wasn’t able to understand what the name of the drink was. It looked like water, but it burned my throat when I drank it. I’m guessing it’s some kind of alcohol?
I only drank a few sips before I felt sick and dizzy so it failed at keeping me warm. And I’m starting to feel tired.
I pray I survive and that this letter makes it to you.
There is a messy sketch of a young man dressed in thick, winter wear lying down under a tree on the back.
He drew it in a rush as his sight started to flicker-- which surely wasn't a good thing-- and handed the bottle to the mailman who was passing by. Jongin told him to take it and toss it out into the ocean. At the moment his spirits weren't high, having low hopes of the letter making it back to Kristopher. Wherever he lived.
