He recited the date and watched as all three of them recoiled.

Introducing: Alia and Nell

Aka, I wrote this as a little intro to my swocs, Alia and Nell.

The door let out a beep as it opened, causing Alia to look up from her magazine. She didn’t recognize the individual that entered her shop, but it didn’t concern her any. “Hello, how can I help you?” She broke the silence, tucking her magazine away. The person approached the counter and smiled at her.

  “Hello! I’ve heard you can fix blasters?” They set one on the counter and Alia picked it up to study it. She recognized it to be standard issue for storm troopers and wondered for just a moment where this person had gotten it from. But… she mentally shook herself. Better to stay out of it. “So… can you?” They asked again. Alia looked up at them.

  “Yes, but it won’t be cheap.”

  “Oh, that’s no problem! My name’s Nell, by the way.” Nell smiled widely at her. Alia turned to collect the tools she would need, setting the blaster back down.

  “I wouldn’t give that away so easily if I were you. 500 credits and I take payment up front.” Nell laughed.

  “I don’t mind people knowing who I am.” They only hesitated a moment before paying and Alia picked up the blaster. “Let’s get this thing fixed

"Okay so it all started back in 9th grade when Alex tried to wear a pink button down to some fancy meeting with a director or something. His dad yelled at him to change because "pink is for girls and gays" Alex was pissed, but he changed. Oh right, I think it was a read through for the show he was gonna be guest starring on. Anyways, jump forward like three days. It's the day before they're gonna actually start filming the episode and Alex decides to dye his hair. I'm not sure if you know this, but Alex naturally has really pretty super light blonde hair. Like bleach blonde. And Alex cares about his hair a lot, so he goes to a salon to get it done. And he has them dye his hair the brightest pink possible. Like, he's fine with spending however much money to dye his hair super pink without ruining it. And he does. At this point, mind you, Alex still has a credit card that his dad pays off. So he spent a ton of his dad's money to dye his hair pink. And he goes home, goes to bed, doesn't see his father. Then it's the morning of filming and he walks downstairs, hair as pink as bubblegum. And his dad flips out. Yelling at him to dye it back blah blah blah. But there's no way he can get it back to the blonde it was, especially not before filming, and definitely not without completely ruining his hair. So they go to the set and everyone loves his hair. Like, they're raving about how this brings a whole new side to the character blah blah blah. And then there's definitely nothing Alex's dad can do about it. And Alex has kept his hair pink ever since."
