Focused fixation at the moment: Madness Combat + Among Us show
AMONG US show spoilers
Everyone discredits Orange in favor of Green. But Green had some misplays as well. Even they admitted, they should’ve killed Purple out ASAP but kept them around to throw suspicion onto Red. But their major mistake was that they could have never truly known the personal background the two had with each other. Green only knew how to appeal to Red's status as them as a captain, but Purple knew Red the most. Plus, Orange WAS as sneaky as Green. They would’ve almost successfully axed Black if it wasn’t for Cyan. Black would then go on to find out about the alien eggs and their words after death then reached the crew. Orange wasn’t around long enough, but people aren’t looking at Orange for what we have seen of them. Especially with how they tried to make up their misplay with their sacrifice to appear as the only alien. They can be AS cunning and sneaky as Green.
I do also want to say that Green's killings felt a lot more personal to themself than who Orange would've went for. After all, they just like to kill.
It kind of feels to me that Orange and Green are parallels of Red and Purple.
One dedicated their life to staying as compliant to Mira as possible, and the other held onto personal beliefs to the very end, especially in who was being targeted by them.
Had Red continued the path of Orange and compliance, they would have met the very same fate.

People underestimate Orange too much. They threw in the towel to convince everyone there were no imposters onboard anymore. By saying they were, indeed, going to kill more crewmates, then everyone would be convinced for sure that there were no more impostors. So then, a party was thrown, where Green almost killed every single one of them in one fell swoop. If not for Heracles, brought illegally onto the Skeld so no one knew about it, then Green would've used the party to kill literally everyone via oxygen deprivation. Its death told Purple something was terribly wrong.
People have played like this in the game too, where, when they get voted out, they go "yeah I'm the only one impostor". Ofc, I think Orange definitely did not mean to get caught, but giving up almost DID work. The kill timing and killing in front of everyone was dumb, but lowering everyone's guard for Green was very smart.
You know, maybe that’s why Green considered Orange dumb.
The aliens infect and spread.
They take the lives of others, leeching and killing. They are selfish in how they live.
But Orange was self-sacrificial and dedicated to their goals and Mira.
They believed in Mira and their policies first and foremost, and as such believed they needed to provide as much as they could to ensure the desired results are met. They were willing to put their life on the line for this corporation and their goals.
Even if it meant sacrificing themself to do it.
Even if it meant they needed to die so that Green could fulfill the actual mission.
And Green, obviously, didn’t believe in that.
They were old-fashioned in their alien ways, only wanting to invade and kill with no other values.
They were selfish, as standard with their alien species, and would think Orange’s dedication to self sacrifice instead of helping with spreading would be totally dumb.
Green’s worm farm background story and unpaid intern status, whether real or not, could foreshadow them sticking to the alien ways of only needing to spread instead of Orange’s dedicating their life to the cause and corp.

I think Orange and Green were imposters before stepping onto the Skeld, and that Orange had been one especially for a long time. This is because...
I theorize that the Skeld was always intended, by Mira, to be taken over and piloted by Green the entire time.
Mira had always intended for Green to take over the crew and have them become new hosts for aliens because everyone on that crew is disposable. I’ll get to that. It is also why Green would have aspirations to want to become a captain themself.
There’s implications that Mira knows more about aliens than is letting on, and is even making use of them considering they’ve been harvesting their eggs as well. It’s very interesting that they put “Aliens are real and like to kill” in the captain’s handbook, and yet Orange, the HR of Mira and a significant representative of them denied the existence of aliens?? Mira KNEW they were real, yet Orange lied to keep them under wraps. There is no chance that they didn’t know this information as well. This was info intended to be kept secret.
Everyone on the crew did not believe in aliens, except for Lime. This means the general populace wouldn’t know about aliens either.
I speculate that the rule was placed in that handbook to inform the captains of the aliens, being like “yes, if you encounter aliens, don’t worry about it…” or something like that. And Mira knows its captains would not be the kind to leak information.
And they were completely right. Red, influenced by Orange’s threat of reporting and reflection of the situation, did NOT tell the crew. They didn’t say so, because they were influenced by Mira’s policies, yet were informed by Mira themselves.
So what does this mean? That NO ONE on the ship was intended to live, much less leak info to the public about aliens and their harvesting of their eggs. Orange was also having everyone sign waivers and possible NDAs. The Mira rep was making sure everyone fell in line, besides it being corporate policy, of course. And Orange would have totally known about the aliens because they were one themself!
Now, what do I mean by the crew being disposable? The crewmates aboard were only there to be disposed of, being new alien hosts.
Mira never intended for them to be working an actual job. They were there under guise of an actual crew, but in reality, they intended for Green to kill everyone and take over the ship. A crew of eccentric crewmates that Mira did not want to live.
Think about it. Red, the captain, signed the NDA to keep quiet about the initial incident. They’re as much as a bootlicker as the corporate shill Orange. No way they would disobey what Mira has set up. Red’s proven very loyal yet mostly incompetent, especially implied in way of promotion.
Purple wanted to whistleblow on Mira, and they didn’t sign the NDA, therefore was considered a dissenter. They were blacklisted from jobs from this. So why was Mira willing to let Red hire them onto the crew as a security guard? To also have an opportunity to get rid of them.
White, the privileged crewmate who has connections to other privileged people in power. Being a contest winner, they served as another body on board to be hosted. Since they were so privileged and had so much trust in Mira, they definitely would have come onboard and not leak anything, just in case. Even Orange guessed they would’ve definitely signed the waiver after they died. Another easy picking.
Blue, the hot doctor, was both smart and hot. Blue also did have grievances towards the medical community and also criticized how everyone wants to give money to “innovate”, yet fail to put in work to actually understand the world. That would be calling out the practices of big corpos.
Lime, the anti-gov and anti-corp conspirator and the only one who believed in aliens. Obviously, someone like this would put bad faith out about Mira and the likes. Lime couldn’t have been left to live, badmouthing them and spreading these “crazy lies”, but knew the truth.
Yellow and Brown both were in a union, and Mira definitely hated that. Cyan and Black were both experienced enough in their fields that they both would’ve eventually found out that ore + also had eggs in it (this was a correct assessment, as shown in the final episodes). Given Black’s tough demeanor, they definitely would’ve leaked that info.
They were to be disposed of by Mira in an undercover mission of creating new hosts, transporting ore + eggs, and silencing those who would’ve found out and criticized them, or opposed their practices.
This crew was to be doomed from the very beginning.
