New project summer 🥤🥤🥤 special effects,
A little help (personal notes) for working with the Music Maker Jam app. (Android, Google Play)
Guys, I created this text as notes for myself. But gradually I noticed it was turning into a post for my Tumblr blog 💘 and I thought, that's great! I rarely have the mood to create interesting blog posts (and the opportunity to do so is even rarer 😭).
Perhaps my guests or subscribers will find this review useful 😍 After installing the app, you will need to complete a nominal training course to get started.
After completing the training, you will be able to choose several free instrument sets that you can use to create your own music in the app. But if you don't plan to immediately purchase additional content
in the store, do the following:
Choose only instrument sets in the style of music you like and will be working with. Remember that the selection of free instruments is strictly limited! If you randomly enter unfamiliar content, you will soon realize that you won't be able to do anything good 😁 and then you will have to buy two or three times more content.
When creating a new project, you see your instrument sets and a panel where you create and save the audio track. You can add from two to eight instruments to a single project cube, which is 8 seconds long.
The longer the audio track, the more cubes you see 🥤 You can delete, rename, or edit any of them. Mixing and live recording are used when saving the audio track. You can save your track as a video with the app logo or an MP3 file (with a different logo).
Start 😊
No. 1: All cubes in the project appear only once. The instruments can be anything. This way, you can create normal tracks up to 40 seconds long.
No. 2
All cubes in the project appear only once, and the number of instruments can be from 2 to 8. In each new cube, the number of instruments is reduced by 1-2, and the project continues. New instruments are added to replace deleted ones after a rigorous selection process.
Style 3
All project cubes are duplicated and run consecutively. For example, if a project has 5 cubes (a 40-second track), there will be 10 cubes in total, which is double the duration.
Style 4 (created 2026-07-17)
All project parts repeat in this manner – for example, the first cube of the project is non-repeating, but the next two are identical in content. However, they can be swapped to create a 2-1, 2-1, and so on until the end of the project. Using Style 4, you can create a decent track up to 100 seconds long.
Notes:
☐ The audio track duration described above is for the basic (free) set of tools. Additional tool packs must be purchased in the app store. Then your creative possibilities will increase tenfold!
☐
Audio tracks or videos created in the app can be uploaded to any website, but they cannot be sold. The program is ideal for your blog or YouTube channel if you are willing to invest a little money in creative tools. This is a training session for you: you need to create a soundtrack at least 60 seconds long with specific parameters. After creating 1-2 cubes, select the instruments you like (if you create 2, the content is the same). In each new cube, change 2-3 instruments and continue working until your project is complete.
You should end up with a track with almost identical sound across all parts of the project. You may not notice the difference, but if you do everything right, you'll have an interesting and long-lasting project that you can share with friends online. 💯
Even a beginner with no understanding of music production can use the app, and that's great. 😊 For those who create original music professionally, there are no limitations, because these people know what they're doing.
The app is the best (in my opinion) of all the music creation apps on Google Play. The program is linked to your Gmail account, but there's one serious drawback 😭
For example, your progress in Google Play games is saved even if you use multiple devices, like a tablet at home and a smartphone at work. But you can't do the same with this program.
Your creative tools will be saved, but the project list will be empty 💀 and that's very bad. If you can find your project files on the device, simply copy them and add them to the new device.
This is important!
You don't need to add as many tools to your project as possible. You'll end up with a collection of noises that your first listener will want to strangle you with. 😄 For a decent sound, 4-6 will be enough; the average person simply won't be able to hear more.
