Her eyes stayed on Sean as he prepped their cups of coffee, smiling when he placed her cup in her dainty palms. The smell of the fresh roast in the air wafted to her nostrils and made her draw her attention away from the male before she took a small sip, noting the hot temperature of the beverage. As soon as the liquid touched her tongue, she let out an audible hum. “Mmm.. Wow, this is delicious. I’d pay for this any day before I’d give them another penny.” she said as a reply. “What other hidden talents do you have?” Phil asked, her eyes shifting back to the male before his question rang in her ears. “Dinner, eh?” Her lips perked up a bit as the idea cycled through her mind slowly. “Like a proper date?” The thought made Phil smile a bit more. It was honestly, the first time in a while someone might be asking her on a date. Most were either too intimated or preferred a more physical relationship - though she never minded that. “If that’s the case, count me in.” she said with a nod before taking another sip of her beverage.

“Hidden talents? Well, I suppose if I tell you then they won’t be hidden, right? Guess they just have to be discovered,” he told her with a soft laugh and was grateful for the coffee to distract him. She of course couldn’t hear the way his heart was pounding in his ears, the nerves that zipped through his body when he realized that he had actually asked her out on a date. He, Sean Castillo-Davis, had asked Opehlia WIlson on a date...and she had said yes. The time between her question, his nodding and her actual answer felt like a decade and when she actually said yes, he almost didn’t catch it, his ears ringing a bit too much before he felt himself breath and he let himself actually meet her eyes. “Really?!” He tried not to seem so surprised but he couldn’t help it and he laughed at himself as he cleared his throat and sat up a bit, trying to seem more confident then he felt but she had said yes. “Perfect, perfect uh, what day works for you? I can pick you up, I’m usually free after 4 when I don’t have club activities or I’m not watching out for the theater kids so uh, Friday..is uh Friday good?” He cleared his throat and smiled at her. “It’ll uh, it’ll be fun. Give me a reason to wear these new shoes I got,” he joked, though they were really nice and he was already thinking of an outfit. He had to look good for her.
