steadfastly not voting in the upcoming election, but wanted to get your opinion on the "Bernie or bust" mindset. completely antithetical to the idea of progress, no? like, my guy isn't winning the nomination so I'm taking my ball and going home, instead of furthering the beliefs of the party he's running for by voting for the candidate he's helped drag further left. am I missing something or are these people true babies?

No. 

It’s nothing like that. 

It’s actually the only honest position I’ve seen taken this election. 

If you believe a Bernie supporter should vote for Hillary, you assume there’s enough in common between those two candidates to justify it. Or, you believe you’re electing a party rather than a human. 

Bernie or Bust people don’t share that view. They see significant daylight between their candidate and Hillary. The same way you might between Hillary and Trump. 

I support the Bernie or Bust people because they understand your vote is your conscience. Anything else is coercion dressed up as pragmatism.
