Married my husband Buddy on 4/25/15 Gabriel Phillip born on 6/29/16, after 2 years of ttc. Due with James Wyatt on 4/30/18! We plan on starting foster care training August of 2018, but you know what they say make plans and god laughs!

James' 9month pictures. I bought a seamless paper backdrop and an outfit it was perfect!

On Valentine's day James had ear tubes surgery and the change has been amazing! He is babbling 24/7 really loudly. He's also realized toys make noise it's hilarious. We think his hearing was affected much more than we realized. It hasnt helped his breathing and wheezing but it was kind of a shot in the dark there. We switched his nebulizer steroid and I think it's helping, but we have to do it twice a day and it can't be mixed with his albuterol 😣 so now we're doing up to 8 breathing treatments a day. And of course he still hates every second of it.

Gabe was discharged from occupational therapy and that will end March 12th. So soon it will just be speech and developmental therapy. We also had a meeting about his transition into developmental preschool. He will have to qualify and I really hope he does. They have a bus that picks them up and it's free!! It would cost $700 a month of he didn't qualify. 🤞

Update!!!!

December-january

James is such a big boy, rolling all over the place. Gabe is coming so far developmentally and I'm insanely proud. The first few pictures were James' 6 months milestone images/Christmas set up I did. Then his 7 months in the recliner. We're having issues keeping his RAS under control. Breathing treatments about 6 times a day helps, but if he gets sick it's right back to where we started.

On 1/12 I some how dislocated my SI joint and had a procedure on the 14th to fix it. Then on the 16th I had my bilateral carpal tunnel surgery. It was a crazy week for sure! Surgery went well and I recovered pretty fast. It sucked not being able to use my hands but it was only for a week or so. I have the best support system!!

James had surgery today to put tubes in his ears. I have to say this is the first time I have been very frustrated with a facility. I got told one thing by the ENT office (I was told he would be under complete anesthesia and that I could go back with him until he fell asleep. I was also told I could be in the room when he got back) none of that was true. He was only lightly sedated, called twilight anesthesia. He did not need an IV or anything. I did not get to follow him to the OR like at the children's hospital. I couldn't come back until he was stable. So I had to sit in the waiting room listening to him cry. Hardest thing I've done in a while. He was a trooper though. After a long nap and a big bottle he is back to his happy self. I know his buhbuh is missing him.

Sorry I've been mia lately. Got diagnosed with ppd/ppa and things have been rough. Luckily I've called on my village and they are all helping me. Also my husband is absolutely amazing. He has really stepped up. My OB started me on Prozac on Thursday I'm really hoping it will help. So far it's just making me super nauseas. I also got my first breast feeding achievement. I have made it past 6 weeks which is how long I breast fed Gabe. I'm still going strong so here's to many more months! I'm still exclusevely pumping but it works for us so whatever.

Listen I’m trying really hard to be nice, but you are so misguided that’s why it got “turned around” on you. That’s what happens when you’re wrong. I explained why the line on my son’s diaper was blue. I had JUST changed him not even 5 min before I took the picture. NO ONE changes newborns diapers the second they turn blue. Secondly semi nude??? He’s in a diaper you’re just reaching at this point. Do you even have kids, because it REALLY doesn’t seem like it. I’m a good mom, and this is my blog. I can post how I see fit. Why would you post pics of your baby in a pissed up diaper?? Like...you know what that blue line means, right? Yikes.

LOL!!! You must not be aware of pediatricians offices or newborns in general, or hell even how sensitive that line is. First off in a pediatrician office the first thing you do is strip off all the babies clothes and put them in a dry diaper. I had already done that, and as I alluded to your lack of knowledge about newborns they pee AS SOON as you change their diaper. At least boys do anyways. As soon as they're exposed to air all bets are off. This is why newborn boys are known to spray people. Secondly, those strips turn blue with the TINIEST amount of pee. If I ran and changed his diaper the second it turned blue I'd have to refinance my house to pay for 10,000 diapers a day. And also had you been there you would know I just snuck a pic before the doctor came in with his growth sticker. This is something I have always done with my first son, and plan to continue. So no it was not a very planned picture, but this is my blog and I like to look back at how small he was at his first doctors visit ect. Let's not try to be petty and go around anon bashing on mom's. It's chaos be kind....

Happy one month little guy!! (5/30/18 technically) We had his appointment yesterday, and we're going to try to find out what's wrong with him. Our pedi strongly thinks it's colic, but we're also worried it could also be silent reflux on top of the colic. We sent a stool sample today to see of he has a dairy allergy, please dear god I pray that's not it. I just want to help him this whole crying and screaming all day is just heart breaking. Nothing I do helps him at all. At least he's gaining weight and growing big. He's still in the 13th percentile for weight, but he's up to the 43rd for height and head is 85 😂. I make skinny big headed babies lol.

Having your husband take your other son outside is good. It seems that his problem is with the baby and him not getting the attention he used to. Try having him and the baby do things together. Let him feed the baby, maybe burp him. Ask him for help with things. Idk how old he is but he sound like he’s a walking talking child. Just talk to him and include him in the baby. He wants to feel like a valued member of the family again.

Thank you!! He's not quite 2, but he has tried putting his paci in his brothers mouth a few times. I might try to see if he would want to feed him. He's recently been diagnosed with sensory issues, so it could also be that. We havent met with his new doctor for that so I really have no clue yet how to handle it. He's enjoying the daddy time though.

James spam!!! Dear Lord I suck. Sorry everyone little guy is 2 weeks old. We are all healthy and good, we're just in that survival mode I think and I havent been very active on here. James lost a bit of weight and got down to 6lbs 8oz but we're officially back up to 7 so I think by Thursday(his third weight check 😩) we should be back up to 7'1. That will mean we don't have to wake him every 2 hours, and hopefully we will get more sleep. Breast feeding has been a struggle James just has a horrible latch; that is when he latches at all. Most times he just refuses and screams. He even has issues with latching on bottles. Not sure what's up with that. I've been pretty much exclusively pumping except for the odd times I feel like BF. We have found it goes much easier with a nipple shield so we've been doing that. Healing has been a struggle this time around they had a lot of issues getting him out and had to make my incision larger only by like an inch I think. I've had a lot of pain, and one night when I got up I thought I ruptured my uterus and wound up in the ER, luckily I only tore scar tissue. I'm just now starting to feel normal, and no issues with infection so far thank god. We have just been so exhausted. Gabe is not adjusting well, and is acting out and attention seeking. It's driving us bonkers, and on top of that he's on a food strike and waking up 2-3 times a night. So on top of 2 hour feeds pumping and dealing with gabe getting up and waking at 6-7 I'm feeling like a zombie. Buddy is back at work this week working from home this week then back to normal next week. I'm so freaking terrified of him going back. I just am not handling all this well. I feel like if Gabe was acting better I could do it, but he's being mean to the baby so I can't take my eyes off them, and it's stressing me out. I have a good support system so im hoping it gets better. I just have no idea what to do with gabe though. My husband has been taking him aside every day to play one on one, but the second he comes back inside it's instant meltdown. Advice is needed!

More James!!! Now I'm officially caught up on pictures lol he's so tiny though!! Newborn clothes are way too big but preemie are proving too short so clothing this kid is basically impossible. ❤❤❤James Wyatt 4/30/18 ❤❤❤

Welcome baby James Wyatt!!! Born at 8:09 am. He weighed 7lbs 1oz and was 19 inches long. I'll share my birth story later tonight. So far he's doing good failed one sugar test, but has since passed his latest test. He is so calm it's insane. We are both just over the moon. My birth was amazing and everything I hoped for and more.
