Some kind of intro post

call me salt. I'm a 30-something year old writer and artist with a deep love for dark fiction, horror, sci fi, urban fantasy and erotica.

I enjoy all kinds of content, from fandom to original, but my creative specialty is darker whump with a focus on hurt rather than comfort (long stories always have some comfort/happy endings, short stuff often doesn't). Dark/unhealthy relationships between characters are my jam, which means there will be a lot of intimate whump found here, along with things like kidnapping, long term captivity, conditioning, torture, noncon, etc.

I have a handful of ocs that are my darlings, so expect a lot of content for them too. They aren't restricted to one story or fandom, I have many aus and scenarios to put them into — if one idea isn't your cup of tea, but you like the characters themselves, it's very likely something else will pop up you might enjoy later haha

I want to watch an emergency responder procedural that starts off as normal with improbable disasters every week, but as the series goes on the characters become increasingly aware of how statistically unlikely their local rate of disaster has become, and the country and civilians react accordingly. mass exodus of the rich, influx of meteorologists and other relevant scientists, a local doomsday cult flourishes... the emergency responders are still responding to their emergencies but the show has slipped sideways from straight procedural to scifi as the disasters have to keep ramping up to top the previous disasters. like by the end of season two they're battling an alien invasion, an archaeologist has uncovered an ancient cursed artefact in the catacombs under the town hall and absolutely everyone has ptsd

You could be having the most fucked up problematic thoughts 24/7 but if you treat people with kindness, the good you do is the only thing that matters.
