“Oh shut up.” Jason laughed. He’d return the joke, but that would be insulting Sally too and Jason wasn’t about to make that mistake, not even for a joke.
“You had your fun with all your adopted penguins, I’m sure they’ll be pestering the fish lady about you from now on.”
“I think they definitely liked their food more than me, though. Besides, they can show off to anyone! Not just me.” Percy laughed, fondly remembering all the little guys doing their tricks.
He got to his feet after a moment and brushed off his jeans on instinct, offering a hand to his boyfriend to help him up. “Ready to go?” He chirped sweetly, wide eyes focused on his.
Jason pulled himself up on Percy’s hand, using the momentum to pull the other closer, smirking when he had Percy in his arms. “Always.” He quipped and quickly snuck a kiss to Percy’s cheek.
“Ah–” A soft gasp slipped past Percy’s slightly parted lips when he was tugged forward gently, but he found he didn’t mind at all since he got to be situated comfortably in his boyfriends arms. “What a dork.” He whispered fondly, eyes showing nothing but love as he gently nudged their noses together.
“You love it.” Jason purred quietly and kissed Percy softly before letting him go. “Now.” He said, grin spreading on his face, “Where are those monkeys I’ve been promised?”
Percy was grinning goofily as they pulled away, the look of a boy who had fallen head over heels really. "Ah, follow me, primate prince!" He exclaimed playfully, taking Jason's hand again do that he was able to lead him away from their little picnic area. The monkeys weren't too far, luckily enough, and soon he could see their little furry bodies in behind a fence.
