sorry this is. little rambley just what i’ve been thinking about lately.

It’s considered embarrassing to be a therian because humans are thought to be the most superior and dignified species and that just isn’t based in reality. Humans are only the most superior by their own standard of what makes an intelligent species of whatever. Language, emotion, complex thought but it feels like these being exclusive to humans is disproven like every year and it’s treated as some revelation each time. or the one i think is more insidious that they haven’t been the ones to take over the world so they must not be as awesome as us.

So don’t be ashamed, be angry that there are systems in place that allow non human species to be treated as lesser than or disposable.

I’m not a big mask person and quads person I’ve slowly found out over the years… (although i find a mask more appealing for snout and face dysphoria than those neoprene snoots…) I genuinely tried and didn’t like actually doing it, I would just forget and forget until I concluded I’m basically just disinterested in the actual hobby and just love the idea… but this time I want to do it differently. Instead of trying to do quads like in the specific forms and so on, to try and do quads in a way that comes naturally to me in a way that empowers me to my job instead of farming tiktok clips.

I think this is why the idea of doing a quadrobics YouTube appeals to me so much, because I can actually like… make more quadrobics content that really captures what being a quadrupedal animal is like for me instead of the fashy jumps. Where I help transport goods for my people and lead them to safety and leap and dash and play through the woods after patrolling my feild to ensure my flocks are safe.

(Seriously i’ve seen so many where they don’t even do quads up to the jump they just walk bipedally up to the jump before then jumping on all fours, which is still sick and impressive but is the pinnacle to me of how a lot of the more popular quads content has become about flashy jumps and not connecting with your theriotype which is completely fine except they’re almost all the therian content on the forsaken tiktok app 😔)
