“Sleep little pet…” William held the demon close, “It will be alright. You just need to rest.” It was hard to fall asleep, because William felt really guilty about what happened. But he felt drained too, and as he lay with Sebastian, his head started to feel heavy and he drifted off eventually.

Sebastian slept for sometime tired out from everything that had happened.

William managed to sleep for a while too, but was intrrupted by the phone ringing. He got up and rushed to answer it, so that i won’t wake Sebastian up.

“Hello?” he asked in a sleepy voice.

“M-Master William…” it was Claude, whispering in between little sobs. “My master is asleep now, please don’t tell I called… but I had to, I’m so very sorry for what happened. Master told me that Sebastian asked not to get me punished, it was kind of him, but I deserved to be beaten. I just hope you can forgive one day…”

William was silent for a longer moment, before answering, “I forgive you. But it’s not me who lost something.” he said, and then hung up.

“Right your pet who also happens to be a half angel and have rather large and flashy wings. There going to know i’m not all demon.” He groaned. “I just hope she does not panic…”

William took Sebastian’s face in both hands, making him look him in the eyes, “I will protect her. I will make sure she’s comfortable and safe. I promise. I will protect both of you.” he kissed the demon’s lips softly, “It’s alright, we’re family.”

“I trust you William, if anyone hurts her…” He held himself close to the reaper.
