Aaaah, fits like a glove…

It has been a while since I have darkened my favorite place.  But there had been a few things personal and “professional” that needed my attention. There is going to be an announcement in the next few days.  So I am off to finish the last of the preparations.  

Someone new is joining us in a Manor, though I do hope their demeanor is better than our resident exorcist. In short after a very deplorable situation my Lady Mun has decided to acquire an additional blog from their original owner. Certainly at this time we are keeping it hush, hush but if you are taking the time to peruse this journal entry I do hope you go and make the newest resident to our household feel welcomed.  From what I have learned there are more than a few interesting verses as well as Demon that masquerades as a Priest. There also is a verse where he is one of my old friends incarnate and one of the seven deadly sins.

And let us not speak of our shared Professor Verses...I do believe the upcoming semester is going to be fun indeed.

The good Doctor and I have made a lot of progress with the issues with my Master and I about the ‘cats in the closet incident’.  Though he still says no felines in the house, I have managed a way around that and a way to keep my delightful little fuzz balls from being ejected from the residence.  However there has been another issue that is much more of a nuisance than a loose tiger on the grounds could ever be, the young man that has come to live here.

Kanda has been one of the most ‘difficult’ guests I have ever had the displeasure of ever coming in contact with.  If he said something that was not biting I believe it would probably kill him.  Not to mention how he not so subtly shared with me that Pandora had gotten out.  To be honest I am rather surprised she would go anywhere near him.  His demeanor since I am sure it puts most humans (or any species for that matter) off would do the same thing for such a sweet kitten like Pandora.  No, it seems to have the complete opposite effect, I even leveled with her and told her the General's meditation space was off limits but it doesn’t seem to be much help. But with a sweet face like that it's hard for me to be strict.

My datebook shows that the three of us the good Doctor, Mr. Sunshine and myself have session coming up.  I am sure the adults in the room will have lots to discuss but with the introduction of ‘children’ into to the conversation I do think it will become ‘entertaining’.  I will go shopping for an appropriate thank you gift for Doctor Jelena, no one should have to sit through what I am sure is going to transpire on purpose. 

Also I followed his blog the other day.  Who knew one like that could have some redeeming qualities.  Needless to say when when he saw the notification he was less than thrilled.  I'm curious to see if he follows me but I doubt he'd be able to handle what goes on around here on a good day.

I must say I am quite happy with that fact that Tyki and I have enjoyed our jaunts to so many different places around the globe.   As well as our son Javier seems to be to taking in all the different cultures very well.  He will probably be the only child I know that will need a tutor that can keep up with his constant variations in language.  There is something though that still intrigues me.  I am curious to see what abilities will be and when then will show themselves.  Tyki and I have discussed that needless to say we are both waiting for that day when unusual things start to happen.  Children are like that when coming into their own.  Until they learn discipline and control of such abilities, that are nothing but new toys for them. 

Tyki however has been more of a sense of concern.  I am glad he felt up to it to travel on his own, but I am rather concerned how this childbearing period has affected him.  Though he went home to Portugal for a while I understand that parenting can be a bit of an unsettling experience at times no matter how rewarding.  But Javier and I do look forward to his return home soon.

Have you ever felt a true shift in the atmosphere?  I did the moment Mana’s bother Neah returned to the manor.  I am not entirely sure what stems his distrust of new people because for now I am strictly in a working capacity.  Yet the younger sibling if I didn’t know any better would like to get a first-hand account of how my insides work.   The more I try to figure out what has him in such a heightened sense of awareness is rather puzzling.  I cannot tell which was more telling the glare he gave me when I was at the door upon his return or the way I answered his question about the omission of my age on my resume.  One can’t give up all their secrets now can they?   I am certain he and I will have a chance to put all of our cards on the table.  When he do have such an exchange I think it will be probably somewhere near or around that mysterious room of his. 

Master Mana however has deemed himself a peacekeeper on my behalf but I shall not put him in such a difficult position for long.  I know that is his brother but I do not wish for my new employer to have to spend his time defending me against his brother’s doubts.

So wonderfully complex, it is as if we are actually meeting each other for the first time.  I found it odd as we spoke of my book Rya seemed to be surprised at the way I saw our ‘relationship’.  Even though it was a contract, it is very possible for one to develop a certain degree of feelings when you spending that much time with someone as we did.  As she lived he other life we spent every day together I was there for Ciel upon his rising until after he went to bed at night.  But there was always, (especially after we settled into a routine) things I sensed and the way he sometimes behaved around me. 

Now in this day and age things are much different between us and it looks as if he feels more comfortable in this new female persona to express what he often times kept so transparently on the surface.  This evening however we have a lot to discuss not to mention I’m still getting messages from my publicist about the upcoming event for my book.

However it will be nice for us to speak so candidly for a change, each time we met I notice Ciel is more pronounced yet subdued.    The young master was always one to surprise me with a sudden change in behavior I guess this is one of those times.

I have not seen that Angel in a few years.  I have sensed her horrid presence from time to time, but I have not laid my eyes on her in quite sometimes.  No matter I still have a job to do and she will not keep me from obtaining what is rightfully mine.  Unfortunately Ciel’s soul is growing more and more attached to his human body.  It would be so easy to simply talk the soul out of the body using the guise of an Angel or simply take it without any flowery pretext; the soul did run after all and if it were in human form and had escaped its cell the punishment still would be the same, death. 

Rachel dotes on him so much though so slipping in when she is not around has been best.  Besides, what mother would resist well qualified help when it is presented to her when she needs it most?  None. 

I must say I can’t wait to see how this next phase plays out.

As I go about my work today I can’t help but notice how comfortable Ali has gotten since she moved in with me.  I mean I am a variable stranger to her yet it seems she is more at ease around me than those she has known for quite a long time.  She is a very complex young woman I can give you that, but there is something else just lurking under the surface.  Though being a Demon I can glean that information, but lots of times it’s more fun to see how the intentions of another play out.

At the end of this day the young man known as Thomas Wallis will no longer have his feet fully planted in the human world any longer.  Yes, this is the day that would contract will be settled.  Strange enough the young man seems rather resigned to it.  He does not seem freighted nor has he tried to look for a way out.  Not even when I offered him the option of bringing another to me in exchange for his ‘human’ life.  A very upstanding man in deed he is, though I am sure at some point he may break down and refer to himself in the past tense not that that would apply to him at all. 

I have never seen an individual so continent once given the gift they desired most.  Still I find it quite perplexing; one as talented as he should have never had the road blocks that were set before him.  I supposed that is that pious and long suffering that is spewed.  All that does is cause for frustration and regret only to wonder if it will be suddenly taken away again.  Then you will be right back where you started.

If one did not know any better one was thing Thomas was going somewhere with the way he has been surveying this place every time my back has been turned.  It is almost like he is trying to absorb the feel and scent of the place even the glow of the fireplace seemed to be especially intriguing to him the other day.  Try as I might, I shared with him he will see those things again should he choose to.  But there are situations that one has to learn the answers for themselves.  Once he is on the other side of the human condition he will see that there is nothing at all to fear.  The one thing he is losing is his humanity.  Yet for one as kind and thoughtful as this human I doubt it will make much difference at all.

The time is now at hand…

Yesterday was a rather interesting day.  Someone has walked back into my life and old friend, Ciel Phantomhive.  Now as well all truly know from my books and from history itself that the soul never dies, this just makes me a true firm believer in that.  Her name is Rya Rachel Mackay and she is my old master incarnate.  I mean this is truly him right now to my mark on his, rather her eye when we are close. Which that is rather odd and upon further examination we will find out why.  The only thing I can surmise is that there is still some sort of bond between us even though our contract was not fulfilled because in between my taking his soul Ciel was struck with a fatal asthma attack which allowed his soul to get away.  I had a perfect record until then, but at the moment that is not what is at the forefront of my mind.

Unfortunately I have to cut this entry short as I am meeting with my publisher who is trying to talk me out of ending my series The Queens Watchdog.  It is not going to happen but I do have an idea for something that will at least get her off my back for the time being.

It seems as I have done something I have not done in a long time, I have entered into a new contract with a Human.  Whereas the outcome will justify the means this young man is different his is a writer by the name of Thomas Wallis.  I actually learned of him and his fate from Grell, he was supposed to die soon.  But where he as I met was completely by accident, Thomas somehow decided to purchase a gun and wound up shooting me with it.  Of course since I did not die and he found that rather intriguing.  (Most humans do lol)  After getting him past said accident because my only intention was to tell him to get rid of it. 

Thomas and I spoke for a while and the more that I learned about him I just could not understand why he was not giving a pass and allowed to live.  He is a very gentle soul and to me that just did not seem the right thing to do.  The more we spoke I learned of his love of writing and to see his flat there are manuscripts EVERYWHERE but strangely none of them published.  So I decided to ask him what lengths would he go to for his dream to be realized and as most Humans say, ‘anything.’  That is not something you say to a Demon.  As our conversation continued I found out he was truly serious.  So I offered him the deal; and after some serious thought he went for it.  But this time I gave Thomas a choice I guess as a test to confirm what I could already tell about him.  The choice was: have one book published and bring me someone else as payment or achieve the success of his dreams for his soul.  Thomas chose the latter, which was no surprise to me. 

Now that our deal has been cemented it is certainly going to piss the Grim Reapers off and one in particular that is for sure.  But now that takes him out of play for the untimely death that was awaiting him I am the fly in the ointment, am I not?

Where to begin, where to begin…

I have always believed that the past will come back to you in some form or another.  But never was right as when I write this entry.  Someone has returned to my life and I must admit it was a bit of a surprise.  Let me first start off by saying, that I am now engaged.

Yes, it surprised me too, but when things are right they are just that.  Right.  We have similar ways about us, but it is the differences between us that made us fall for each other.  Lord Tyki Mikk and I go way back but thankfully we were never on opposite sides.  Actually I think he and his clan the Noah’s know a lot of what my kind have done through the years.  But our jobs are all relative we step in to assist or sometimes to sway the hand of mankind for life to go on-sometimes good sometimes bad. 

Now going back to the engaged part it all happened rather, suddenly.  We actually met for drinks and then we seemed to start spending more and more time together.  Viola!

We both have our own pasts and the things that we have done.  But that is the beauty in this whole union, neither of us holds the other responsible we look at our jobs as being that just business.  As well as our pasts as what we needed to endure to get to this point.

My Beloved is a Noah of Pleasure.  And for me that means decadence in all things outside and inside the bedroom.  This is quite a match because I (as you know) my driving force is seduction so we all know how things are when those two forces meet.  But I also, have to admit he has given me another reason to indulge and enjoy this life that I have so much of.  And for that I am quite pleased.

We have both come so far so many things seem to be happening between us.  But Ciel and I are teacher and student. Yet when I saw him yesterday when he found me at the book store, I was rather surprised that he would even acknowledge me off campus.  But I was mistaken, we chatted for a bit then we when back to my flat.  And to be honest with you that does surprised me.  I mean ever since we started our game of flirting things have remained the same between us, yet they are so dramatically different.  Who would have thought that it would have turned to all this?  From one kiss on the hand?

But now he sleeps beside me.  Even to be an adult, and to have seen all that he had in his blink of a lifespan Ciel Phantomhive looks so innocent laying here next to me. I am curious to see what Monday will bring when we are back completely in our respective roles.  We shall see, but for now it looks like those thorns lead to a perfect rose.

Normally I do not put such things in my journal but today I find a reason to write this post.  The student that seems to be the bane of my existence is flirting with me.  I am not talking about Alois Trancy, no he is already so heavily entangled in Professor Fautus’ web his flirtations with me are just ‘carry over’.  And I continue to tell myself that as I try to avoid the extremely forward young man at all costs.  But no I am speaking of Ciel Phantomhive and his never behaviors towards me.  We have been the thorn in each other’s side since the semester began but now it is almost as if those battles we always have about everything were a front for something else. 

The young Earl and I have been forced to spend a lot of time together lately because I have been tutoring him as well.  So we have a separate hour, in my office for him to plot my demise or dismissal from the school in an up close and personal fashion.  Yet something as of late has changed between us and that is what moves me to write about it today.  Mind you a few days previous we went off into a conversation about dropping ones walls and he began to little by little drop his façade around me.  I enjoyed this so much so that I showed him a bit of affection by kissing his hand.  Why? Under all that anger and pomp is a very beautiful young man.  One that I would actually like to get to know.  But that is not likely, we are teacher and student and those boundaries are there for a reason.  But still you never know stranger things have happened. 

I affectionately called him ‘Cleopatra’ once and today he came in certainly dressed to seduce and to top it off he perfumed himself with lavender.  Now if that does not send a message of intent I do not know what does.  Either way, I shall be keeping an eye on my ‘Cleopatra’, ‘Rome’ is rather nice this time of year.

I feel terribly about neglecting my journal but sometimes some things cannot be helped.  Today has been an odd day, I feel myself feeling strangely reflective.  While getting dressed this morning before going about my daily duties, my eyes go to a very familiar item on the top shelf of my closet.  A gift I was given so long ago by a friend whom I still to this day mourn her passing.

It is the one thing that during my time in the human world that I have truly cherished.  But every time I play it is almost as if I can feel you near me and hear you laugh.  I remember how we would talk for hours or play cards during the times before were queen as well as during the days of your reign.  But then I also find myself thinking of the days before you became your father’s pawn and how tragic that must have been.  That is such unpleasantness one should never have been subjected too especially from their own kin. 

I remember that last time I saw you, in the tower and you were surprised that I had been allowed to see you since I was not family nor clergy.  I think that day you knew I wasn’t what I appeared to be, but I never told you my secret somehow you just knew.  Funny how that time of religious reformation you were not going to lecture me nor curse me.  But you saw me as your friend as I had been for so many years.  It was so honorable of you even in your last moments to ask for everyone to still support the one that called for you death.  Yet up until the moment you were struck by the sword of Calais did you feel that you would get a reprieve, but unfortunately it never came.  Please do not mistake when I say I mourn your death, I do deeply.  But I could never see you living out your days in a nunnery either.  It just would not suit you.  You were meant be seen, pondered and remembered as you were a Queen.

The family I am currently working for is a family of four: husband, wife, two children teenage girl and boy.

There is a staff of five including myself.

The husband tends to spend most of time traveling abroad for his business and visiting his various Mistresses-Oh dear did I reveal something so tawdry?  However more on that later.  There are two children in residence a boy and a girl.  The girl seems to behaving like the tortured soul type.  All she wishes is to be left alone to her thoughts.  But if you ignore her for more than five you are treating her like the garbage the rest of the word does.  She spends most of her time in her room reading her books on demonology and various books by Aleister Crowley.  The young Miss as of late has however developed an interest in contacting Satan.  Though I have heard some of her ceremonies at night I doubt with those techniques if she would even get a decent pizza, much less the Devil himself.

The staff is well, the staff.  How I get involved with such idiots I am not quite sure.  But they care for the family so I guess their hearts are in the right place.  This family does however have a very serious flaw.

They have a dog.

Anyone who knows me knows that I detest those mongrels and wished that they would have suffered the same fate as the dinosaurs.  But unfortunately that has yet to happen.  However the young master seems to be in charge of him.  I threw a ball for that thing once in a game of fetch, poor thing didn’t return for an hour and seemed to have been exhausted.  Needless to say that was the last time I was requested to take that thing anywhere.

Today so far has been a pleasantly odd day.  First the lady of the house was having a tea with her acquaintances and discussing.  However it has taken a bit of a strange turn.  Somehow they went from Jasmine tea sipping ladies to, well I would say Harpies but I do have a few acquaintances who happen to be Harpies so I shan’t stain their names like that.  It all started with an appearance of one of the Lady's oldest friends who seemed to have just returned to town, (what a pity for us).  Strange how one can come around and upset the enter balance in a place nevertheless she was not interested in tea.  She said to me and I quote, “Sebastian I would like you to, mix 2 shots vodka, one lashing ice, one shot of Jagermeister, half pint of lager and three shots of Bacardi; as well as prepare that drink.” 

If you mix those together you get a rather coarse named cocktail called ‘cock up my arse’.  I’m not sure if she’d thought I would be shocked at her forwardness.  But when I suggested she try a little vodka, rum, tequila, gin, blue curacao, sweet and sour mix with a slash of soda her demeanor towards me changed a bit.  (Thankfully)  I was only suggesting to instead make her an Adios Motherfucker Cocktail. 

Well I should be going, the timer just rang and my Apple tart already.

What an interesting family I seem to have found myself with.  Thankfully my evenings are much more interesting.
