So in Falcon and Winter Soldier Bucky gets to show off more of his assassin skills than in the movies, and I think it's great! What's your opinions on it? Also, if you could've chosen who Cap gave his shield to, would you have chosen Falcon or Winter Soldier (please try to not have bias when saying this one).

hi! i totally agree, i’m really excited to see bucky with more screen time and see him in a much more up-close and personal light than in the movies.

after we last see bucky in the movies, he’s had time to cut his hair, seemingly move on (ish) from the events of the films, and become closer with sam. i’d love to see how his fighting style has evolved. for as long as we’ve known bucky since tws, he’s been trying to move away from his hydra training style and i’d like to see if he fights differently now- with more control over himself and with agency.

if i could’ve chosen- i’d’ve made the same decision steve made and given the shield to sam. it’s what i’ve always wanted to happen, tbh. as cool as it would’ve been to see bucky wield the shield, i don’t think he’d want it, given his history with fighting wars he doesn’t want to fight and all his hydra-related trauma. imo, he gotta rest lmao. sam was the perfect successor and i’m also hella excited to see how he makes the mantle of cap his own.

Can I just say that to this day I still find it so amazing how much this Marvel character is loved.

Bucky fucking Barnes.

His actor has millions of followers, mainly because of his character. Bucky has over one hundred thousand fics (not including the ones on platforms like Tumblr or Wattpad) hundreds of YouTube edits, an entire fucking fandom devoted to him.

It’s interesting because most would say that compared to say, Steve Rogers or Peter Parker, he doesn’t have as enough clout, but let me just paint the picture for you…

Bucky Barnes has over 100k fanfics, millions of fans, hundreds of edits and fan art, a prominent and huge fanbase…all this and:

• He has only ever said 130 lines in the entire fucking MCU.

• He has never had more than 40 minutes of screen time in a 20+ movie franchise, and half of that screen time he didn’t even talk.

Honesty if that doesn’t just show how powerful and amazing this character is, then I don’t know what to tell ya.

This boy, right here…

He damn well deserves this new tv show. We’re going from 40 minutes of screen time to getting six hours of screen time.

Bucky Barnes deserves it all.
