I’m so fucking fr rn when I say this bc the trailer leaks are NOT helping with my hopes of a Stucky reunion or mcu somehow being able to rewrite Steve’s horrible “ending.” More often than not I worry that they’re gonna somehow make us accept his ending one way or another which PISSES ME OFF. Bye bye Steve rogers character arc bye bye Bucky Barnes period. The Stucky fandom is currently like 5 people rn watch that number shrink by the release of doomsday. Lowkey I’d be happier if they just kill off both of them and let fandom take over

I live happily knowing that endgame Steve is badly written Steve because I understand him better than those writers ever could. So I already made my peace with him. Bucky, however, I do wish they'd just stop bringing him back and messing his character more because he used to be so damn rich in canon, but now they have him doing whatever just because Sebby is awesome and of course they don't want to lose him. But honestly Marvel Buck should've had his storyline gone before they mistreated him the way they did in tfatws. That whole thing was insulting.

OH BOY, you've just unlocked a very very big box of fics and tears right here. I'll go through some of my bookmarks all the way back to 2014 (somehow I hadn't read any fics before then, I know I know). Two things you must know. First, I'm a sucker for pain and suffering, I love hurt/comfort fics with happy endings. Second, my favorite kinds of fic are those who make me throw away my phone at some killer one-liners or those who I just have to stop for a moment to collect myself. Before 2014 they didn't use a mouthguard on Bucky while they wiped him. That thing is used to stop someone from biting their own tongue out while electrocuted, yet Bucky didn't have one before, so it means he probably went years hurting himself everytime he was on that chair. It's disturbing that the only reason Hydra put that gag in his mouth wasn't to keep their 'asset' in optimal condition (they didn't really care if the inside of his mouth was hurt, he didn't even speak after all). No, the reason they decided to use one on Bucky was to lessen the sound of his screams when moved to DC, so others wouldn't hear.
