5) What their socioeconomic status was growing up
Verde came from an upper middle class family, his father ran a successful bar that was mafia affiliated. His father looked the other way and the mobsters who came in paid the extra cash charged for drinks there with the unspoken knowledge any extra paid at the establishment was hush money for the safe sanctity provided by the walls.
Verde spent almost no time in his fatherās bar growing up however, he reaped the benefits of the money it made living a fairly comfortable life at home but, he was never satisfied with something so simple or easy.
6) What their home life was like growing up
It was actually fairly normal, Verdeās parents werenāt the worst and they werenāt the best they never really got their son but sort of letting everything go by the way side assuming one day heād grow out of the strange tinkering stage and embrace the bar like his father. He was an only child and didnāt suffer form sibling competition and as long as he behaved he got most of what he wanted if ti wasntā unreasonable. Verde ALWAYS behaved not because he felt the deeper inclination to do so but, because he was always thinking far beyond a level for his age he knew good behavior = new materials.
He went out of his way to behave and cater to his parents egos in fact all to ensure he always had his hands on the resources for his next project. Home life was calm but his parents never really understood what they were dealing with when it came to their son.
7) What strengths their childhood has given them
Thinking outside the box is a pretty big one, after all as a young child to persuade his parents to buy him materials for his experiments Verde had to come up with things that had the materials he needed int hem. He couldnāt exactly ask his parents to buy him volatile chemicals or dangerous parts, so he learned to look into various toys and the sorts of parts they contained. In that way he also learned to invent and work with whatever he could get his hands on period.
He carries this skill into being an adult trying to discover new ways to make certain things by using things others may not have tried.
8) What weak points their childhood has given them
A lack of morality and respect for others for sure, again Verde behaved for his parents not because he should but to get them to do what he wanted. The scientist had a tendency to just skirt around morality in his science willing ot go to extreme lengths to get results and almost never considers the feelings of others both in science and in other things.
Successfully duping his parents his whole life also only fed his enormous ego with nothing what so ever to tame it because his parents believed him to be a perfect angel.
20) What their family members would say about them
Verdeās mother woudl go on and on about how proud she was of her son and the, well whatever it was he was doing it was clearly very important as he made so much money doing it and was so respected int eh science community. His father would express a deep disappointment in Verdeās refusal to take over the bar while still begrudgingly acknowledging his sonās accomplishments.
