So, I bought a skateboard, watched some tutorial videos and went to the park with it.

Turns out I have a horrible sense of.....everything.

There's a test about which foot you have in front and all the videos essentially say 'do what feels natural. You'll know'. Nope, I don't.

I practiced on my carpet, getting on and off. Worked. Practiced in grass. Worked. Practiced on a bit of road with a crack so the wheel couldn't turn. Worked.

Tried on an actual road, board rolls backwards when I try to get on it.

Went to the local skaterpark, hoping they'd have a rail or sth to hold onto. Turns out it a) doesn't and b) was full of very skilled people, none on skateboards.

I didn't want to interrupt, so I watched for a bit and then went home

Overwatch has this april fool event called Underwatch. Each hero has been changed in this mode with perks ranging from me to awesome to insane.

Like Cass' hello animation, a finger gun, shoots a bullet. Mercy can lock onto enemies and deresurrect. Lifeweaver shrunk 50%.

Symm, my first love, has her turrets lock onto herself. I would love to see her in Stadium and yes, with this perk.

But my reason for this post is Genji and my last match. His primary attack and ultimate have swapped, turning him into a sword wieling melee only dps.

I have his skin set to random from favorites which includes yes, his Blackwatch skin.

My last match had an enemy Hanzo.

It was cathartic hunting down a young Hanzo with that combo.

One of my first loves, Jet Set Radio Future

I've been playing Assassins Creed Nexus on VR.

Not only do I think AC is a perfectly suited game foe this and loooooove the climbing, I love the little things.

Like I was able to steal a flute from a musician by literally grabbing it out of their hands.

Aaaaaand when I put it to my lips, my character actually played it.

And the guards were able to hear this.

Only downside: this may be because I played Thief VR first, but I want to steal everything and I can't! You can pick up things, open drawers and cupboards and chests and vases but you can't keep the stolen stuff. I need the jewelry. And the wooden owls. And the little flying machine. Please, I need to do more crime in here.

Also: I started the Vampire Masquerade game and was delighted I could punch people. Straight up form a fist and deck people. Food for thought
