Gabbro thoughts

This just occurred to me as I was getting ready for the day (as these things do)...

(Disclaimer: someone has probably already thought of this)

⚠ Base Game Spoilers!!!

What if the reason why Gabbro is so nonchalant about the time loops/recurring deaths/ATP's role etc is because they've ALREADY BEEN AWARE OF THE TIME LOOP FOR A LONG INDETERMINATE TIME???

What if they've already explored the whole solar system looking for a solution? What if they've already discovered all of the secrets of the Nomai? What if they've already had to accept that there is no way to stop the Universe's demise? What if they've already had to mourn all the villagers? What if they've also died countless painful deaths way before the Hatchling entered the mix? What if they've already lost all hope?

But, unlike the Hatchling, what if they didn't have the strength to end it all?

And by the time the Hatchling comes along, what if their biggest wish had been to just unload all that fear and responsibility and grief, but they held back for the Hatchling's sake? Hoping that they'd either find something Gabbro missed, and if not, that they'd have the guts to end it all like Gabbro never could?

To me, that would explain so many things about Gabbro (their inaction, the things they say, their ship being left to float about in the ocean).

I'm probably missing some crucial point that makes all this speculation null and void, but whatevs. I'm gonna keep thinking about this on this dreary rainy day ✨

They live in a small cabin in a clearing on the ridge of the Crater Village where they can watch the sunrise and have an unobstructed view of the stars.

Kite loves camping, hiking, fire, coffee, sapwine, candles, whisky, marshmallows, fire, music, dancing, campfires, chopping wood, playing their guitar, matches, teaching the hatchlings about the outdoors, gardening, flares, parties, silence, food, and fire 🏕️🔥🪓🕯️🪵🍲🧨🥾🌌🌲🥃☕

They are also not Rutile's favourite person for some unexplainable reason 🤔

For the hearthians wearing helmets are like wearing uncomfy headphones for too long. It hurts the back of their ears ::( they're just folded up in there ::( gossan had their helmet specially made with the ears out cause they wear it so much in fully breathable air ::( and it was Hurting their Huge Fucking Ears ::( chert and riebeck are exceptions their helmets are.
