messed around with the daydream and peaceful ghosts mods to poke around at the owlk houses in the shrouded woodlands. they spawn here and walk over to the party in a random order

given that there's no way to reach the interior of these houses in the vanilla game, it is absolutely insane that there is any detail in them at all, let alone so much!! i was hoping there would be a basic interior because the outer wilds devs have consistently paid that much attention to detail, but the second floor genuinely shocked me! that's not even something the player could peek into!!

I used a translator, so I can’t guarantee it’s accurate

on my tomodachi life island with a bunch of outer wilds characters on it, gossan has developed a crush on feldspar twice now and both times they went to confess feldspar ghosted them. i don’t think this little pseudo-gossan has even done anything in their whole life except crush on feldspar and be depressed because feldspar ghosted them. just now i saw a little pink bubble above gossan’s head (meaning something romance-centric is on their mind) and felt dread in my stomach. they told me they strongly believe that feldspar has a crush on them. “oh?” i thought. i let them go confront them about this. Feldspar ghosted them again.

i’m starting to think i need to stage an intervention
