He laughed shaking his head fondly at her theatrics, she always managed to bring a smile to his face no matter how he was feeling. He looked down at their entwined hands, glad that he was home, that he was back with her. “Oh now that would just be telling. Some things need to remain a secret otherwise you’ll use those reasons against me.” He teased smirking at her.
Iris pouted, peering toward her boyfriend - though a slight smile played at the corners of her lips. “But Owen..” She moaned, frowning childishly. “You’re the worst.” The raven haired young woman laughed lightly then shook her head as she placed the cigarette between her lips once again, inhaling deeply her eyes closed for a moment before she exhaled, savouring the relief she felt in that moment. She had the man she loved back, safe and sound, only with a few cuts and bruises but there was nothing too drastic, which she was thrilled about. “Come on, let’s go see our little nugget.” Iris smiled, flicking the tab end to the ground, she stood on it then skipped up the steps to their home. Opening the door, she led him inside. “Nugget! Daddy’s home” Her voice echoed through the house and was followed by a gentle pitter patter of tiny feet bounding toward them.
