We are proud to announce that Justine Bateman’s short film directing debut, FIVE MINUTES, will be released on Amazon Prime October 1, 2018 as part of their Film Festival Collection.
After premiering at the prestigious Toronto Film Festival in 2017, the film short was chosen by seven more film festivals. The Savannah Film Festival, The Florida Film Festival, Spain’s Verin Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, New Hampshire Film Festival, and The Catalina FIlm Festival, and The Tribeca FIlm Festival.
The film short is comedy about a progressive elementary school's “parenting class” that takes an unexpected dramatic turn.
Bateman wrote, directed, and produced (alongside Mark G. Mathis and Clio Tegel). Cinematography by Mark Williams and editing by Jay Friedkin. It stars Rob Benedict, Bre Blair, Rae Dawn Chong, Aimee Graham, Steve Agee, Isaiah Mustafa, and Seana Kofoed.
