Merry Christmas Eve! Drew Wayne from Prep & Landing.

Found some old Prep and Landing (Disney/ABC) design I did million of years ago when I was an apprentice there.

Noticed Oswald didn’t get a Halloween costume at California Adventure this year so I thought I’d make one for him! Oswald...the lucky firefighter!

I thought an old school fireman would be appropriate since none of the other characters have done that, that I know of.

Based his helmet off the ones in “Mickey’s Fire Brigade” and went with a color scheme reminiscent of the Disneyland Fire Dept. Thought buttons would have a more classic feel too instead of clasps.

It was after Walt, but one of Oswald’s shorts in the late 20s was called “Fiery Fireman” in which he had to help put out a big inferno.

Once again, the Rivers of America in Disneyland Park erupt in a fiery battle—and this time around, the iconic clash is bigger and better than ever!

Giving Inktober a shot this year to try and improve my drawing. I’m using the 31 days of monsters prompt, so this was the one I did for “Vamprie.”

Saddened to hear of the passing of Jack Lindquist today. Did a whole lot for Disneyland in his lifetime. But his name will live on, in the legacy of Disneyland and his name written on a Main Street window that decrees him the Honorary Mayor.

It all ends tonight! Bummed to see Gravity Falls come to an end, but it’s been a fantastic series.

There were a number of years when I lived in Orlando when I’d go check out all of these guys. They always do a beautiful job. Nothing like a Disney resort at the holidays.
