Hugh quirked his brow, watching as the boy stumbled through his words. “Well, I mean, it is rather odd to find you in a dark alley way on the side of my home, but if you say the stars brought you here, I can’t contend with the star reading.”
“Yes.” Nee let out a breath, smiling brightly. “Definitely! Star reading, a thing which I can do.” He couldn’t. He’d always tried looking at the stars, but, they weren’t much other than cool little dots to him. “You know how stars are about alleys. Love ‘em dark and... near populated areas.”
