Mike’s Hot Dogs, Schenectady, New York, its neon looking pretty nice at dusk, July 21, 2017.  We were on our way home from Ballston Spa, having just adopted a dog from Mountain Rottie Rescue of NY.  In the excitement of the “meet & greet” involving our own two excited Rotts, we had neglected to eat.  This place was like an answer to prayer.  I asked for whatever the specialty of the house was, frankfurter-wise.  It turned out to be a couple of dogs with Mike’s signature meat sauce–quite good.

The Grand Union Motel closed in recent years and is now called the South Broadway Inn and Spa. The motel still looks exactly the same. Located in Saratoga Springs, New York.
