And then obviously when I went on X-Factor it became such a thing where it was “Oh, she’s really ugly. She looks so different. She’s fat” and what I use to think about myself completely changed. I became so insecure. I believed everything that everyone said, and it was such a horrible road for me to go down. I feel like as we’ve gotten older, I don’t know where the turning point was, but we’ve all just learned not to care anymore and genuinely, like Perrie said, we’ve learned to embrace. Things that I didn’t like about myself, I now love. And it’s so true, that the things that make you different are the things that make you special and I think make you perfect. Imperfections, I think, are what make you perfect. Like, what is perfect? Like, who even decides what’s perfect?”
