Angst? Alright. How about... how do the band members deal with anxiety? What scares them to the point of panic, and what does it take to calm them down? Do the other members or an s/o ever have to step in?

Stuart meditates. At first, meditating didn't work but since he didn't give up, it became a good way to be more at synchrony with himself as well as keeping himself calm.
A lot of things cause him anxiety. Especially when it comes to releasing albums.
He is terrified of failing because he loves what he does and wishes for others to love his work just as much as he does.
It's not surprising to find him having panic attacks the day they release new albums.
Usually you, Noodle and Russ help out. You attempt a grounding exercise, a breathing exercise and talking about things that he likes.

It often works, other times you just have to be there for him and wait for the wave of panic to wash away.
He tries to ignore it. Bury down that feeling along with other negative emotions ( or ones he considers bad ).
One would believe nothing scares him, yet that's wrong. Very wrong.
When things become overwhelming and the bottled up feelings find their way up, that's when Murdoc ends up panicking.
He doesn't know what to do with those emotions.
He tries to wait for the panic to go away and then smokes a cigarette to calm down.
He also makes sure he's not around the other members when it happens. He does not want to feel like a burden.
Plus, he doesn't want people to pity him or change their view about him.
She distracts herself, either by playing the guitar, gaming or even singing.
If it's before a concert she would focus on making sure she was prepared.
Having a plan makes it easier to calm herself down.
Something that would bring her to the point of panicking would be her nightmares.
What happened in El MaƱana and Plastic Beach did leave a couple scars.
Russel usually shows up to try and help her.
He reminds her that she is safe, she's no longer alone and has him by her side, as well as the rest of the band.
He likes to get busy. Do something that will make him feel better.
Clean his room, work on his chili recipes as he likes to perfect them, play drums and so on.
Something that would make him panic is seeing either his s/o and band members getting injured.
Not just any kind of injured, something serious that could potentially become a threat to their lives.
He has lot so much already, he does not want to lose any more people.
You or the other band members try to reassure him that everything will be okay.
However, he never truly calms down until there are guarantees that they're safe.
