Shaking his head, he pinched the bridge of his own nose and parroted the other's words as images, god forbid, of what was being implied started flashing in his head.

He pats a few more time, more out of reflex as he was frazzled than anything. This conversation was sinking faster than the Titanic here; he needed out, pronto. "Ahaha! You're a funny guy," he grinned forcefully, his smile lopsided, before he raised the handkerchief and added, "but y'know, I should get going; gotta buy soap and chicken nuggets and whatnot—" The words spilled out of his mouth faster than his legs started moving and soon he was off, waving the cloth in his hands. "I'll bring this back to ya, nice and clean!"
"Eh? But Iwa-chaaan!"
Whines, whines, and whines some more.
"Y'know what."
"I'll just go back home first then. See ya—"
Kageyama looks really, really disappointed.
"I’m fine, but you know…" He shrugs and lets out an exasperated sigh. "I expected this from Oikawa-san, but not from you."

"Ah, thanks." He coughed a few more times into the fabric, trying to play up the guise, before pausing as he realized he didn't know what to do with it—did he hand it back? But he just coughed in it ... was he supposed to wash it before he returned it now?
Of course, he didn't really have much time to think everything through before he nearly choked at the mention of underwear. "NOTHING," he cried, giving the other a nice hard pat on the back. "Nothing at all! Don't mind, don't mind!"
