So i love chaos, and while i've been seeing a lot of poll blogs float around doing card tournaments, i haven't seen many doing the songs (there is @proseka-comm-tourney at least), and also, all the ones i've seen are very organized! And organization is good and all, but i wanna be chaotic, and so i've made this!
Now, a couple things to address about how i'm doing this because i'd like at least some vague sense of organization in the chaos because organized chaos is the best chaos:
Every matchup will be randomized, so every round each winning song will be put back into the wheel and spun again to be matched up
If two songs tie, i'll pair them with a third (random) card in the next round. Does this theoretically mean we could end up with up to 12 songs tying after multiple tied rounds in a row? Yes. Good luck trying to do that agents of chaos
I'll only be using songs released on the JP server up to Jan 17, 2024 (the day of posting this), however i will consider using songs released after as buffers if there somehow ends up being an odd number of songs. If this happens, it'll go by whichever songs release earlier.
This won't actually be including EVERY song in the game. I'll be limiting it to: commissions, sekai covers, and contest winners, so no vs-only songs if they weren't made for the game in some capacity. Vbs archives and the april fools swap covers will be included as their own songs, however no alt vocals will be included (including the into the night ones). This comes out to 298 songs!
Some songs will use links to unofficial youtube videos because there's no official upload. If you are the creator of one of these videos and would like me to remove it, please let me know and i will be happy to do so.
