Let's talk about The Selection Movie!

Okay. In 22th April of 2015, Warner build The Selection’s rights to maybe make a movie. So they had 18 months to try. So, since 22 of April 2015 + 18 months = 22 of October 2016. And today is 22 of September 2016. So…. WARNER HAVE ONLY ONE MONTH TO CONFIRM THIS MOVIE!!!! I’m getting so nervous & afraid of this movie doesn’t come real. Now that the books are over, all we “have” is this movie, so we need it! That’s OUR 30 DAYS TO SHOW WARNER WE REALLY WANT THIS MOVIE. Please @partylikeawordstar tell us there’s something in way, some news maybe?

I would vouch for a Selection movie…I don’t think they’d ruin it. It’s hard to ruin the Selection.

Anyway, regarding the main post, Kiera said she’d tell us news if she heard any, so I’d sit tight and try not to demand for something she can’t give? But yes, we can let the studio know that we want it. I don’t think letting Kiera know again will help bc she knows we want it hahaha.

Guys!!!! there’s a thing that’s killing me. Kiera said that Warner Bros have only 18 MONTHS to try. But she never told “try what?”, like, they have 18 months to finish the screenplay? choose the actors? for what is this 18 months? But the thing is, when this time over, Warner lose the rights for the movie and it backs to Kiera. So, Warner bought the rights on 22 April of 2015. So, this date +18 months, it is 22 October 2016. we’re in July, WARNER HAVE JUST 3 MONTHS TO TRY IT!!!! But the question is: try what? Kiera never explained it well. So help me, asking kiera and rebloging it. It’s for us guys, it’s our movie. We deserve it, and we need to be informed about it. @partylikeawordstar

Ok, when I say “try”, I mean just that: try. If WB doesn’t greenlight production by October, then that may be the end of the journey. There’s the possibility that they might ask to extend the option, but it’s also possible the rights would come back to me.

Trust me, as soon as we have confirmation one way or the other, I will let you know. The best thing you can do for now is to remind the studio it matters to you. And wait with me.
