i think that the school is wonderful and amazing in every way but i tbh don't think that it's right for our big boy, at least not right now. i think it'll be perfect for the girlchild though so we're keeping the uniform lmao but i think he will do better being homeschooled for the time being!

first day of school went so and so. he's having a hard time adapting to the kindergarten setting because he's been at home his whole life and has never had to sit down so even with two recesses and PE, it was difficult for him to be sat down and quiet for ''learning'' time. he had to be removed for being disruptive at some point which sucks, but i understand that it's not exactly something a teacher with 21 other kids can really allow. he sat down in a calming down office with one of their student body managers (idr the term they actually use but whatever lol) and she and the headmistress said that he was extremely kind, happy, and just generally good but that the transition was difficult on him. pls pray that he does better tomorrow, it's a great school with a wonderful mission and curriculum and we would love for him to keep on attending, but ultimately if the transition is too difficult, i'm just going to pull him and homeschool as was our first thought.
