Samara’s grin widened at Selena’s enthusiasm and returned the hug. Her shoulders relaxing as the attention around them faded into background noise. The blonde glanced toward the restaurant entrance, lowering her voice just enough to make it feel conspiratorial. “Okay, food and drinks. Priorities. I scoped the menu earlier. The truffle fries are unreal, the grilled shrimp skewers are supposed to be the thing everyone orders, and the bartender makes a passionfruit spritz that’ll have us feeling cute in about three minutes.” Her eyes flicked back to Selena, playful and inviting. “So… do we start classy with cocktails, or chaotic with fries?”

Pulling away, Selena smoothed out her hair again, eager to enjoy the day with her friend. "Oh, that spritz sounds yummy, and so do the shrimp," she commented as Samara filled her in on the menu. "Well, I don't want to sound crazy, but— why not both?" She suggested with a chuckle. She tried to limit her drinking, but they were in Greece, so she had decided if there was ever a time to let loose a little, it was now.

Samara spotted Selena just outside the lounge before dinner, stopping in her tracks with an immediate grin. “Okay, wait— you look incredible,” she said, giving her a quick once‑over with genuine admiration. “I was feeling good about my outfit until I saw yours. Now I’m reconsidering everything.” She laughed softly, stepping closer. “Seriously, though. You look perfect for tonight.” // @selenaotrgomez

Selena's nervous smile brightened immediately when she locked eyes with Samara. "You're too sweet, babe." She wrapped her friend in a hug before stepping back. "And also, way too modest. You look hot!"

She chuckled when she noticed others were looking at them after her exclamation, but she had no shame in letting her friend know how beautiful she looked. "We both look amazing, and we both need something to eat and drink. Do you know what's good?"
