Visual Artist ................... Being a visual person i see the world in pictures influenced by mechanics of my own personal mythologies that ignite my imagination. I source from there when thinking of image-making. Digital prints are composites based mostly on my own photography. Photography is for me too much a reflection of reality and that is just not enough for me. The body of my digital work is personal and mostly composed of a series of self-portraits. To complete a single image many layers of individual components are required to construct the visual elements to the final composition. I love the whole creative process of layering, with the technique and use of digital tools. The process is intuitive. There is a kind of alchemy in the process of transformation – creating and re-creating images into new being through a process of layering, destruction and rebuilding, moving the digital surface to a requisite complexity that breathes and completion...
