♞— River gave a small nod as the girl went on and on, he wasn’t too concerned with what she was saying, he was more concerned with getting home before the vampire meeting was over. So the mere look of annoyance on his face wasn’t aimed at the girl but at the worry he had for the situation he was currently finding himself in. Sighing a bit he set a hand on her head and gave it a slight ruffle just giving a smile.

❝ You seem nice, Eve, But… I dont recommend friendships with me, so just forget this happened. ❞

♞— As his hand pulled away from her head he looked forwards and tried to keep walking because he didn’t want to accidentally ruin another relationship because he had decided that he wanted to test the boundaries of his newly set rules.

Had this been any other noble, she could’ve easily used her status or power to call him out for disrespect, but the thought hadn’t even crossed her mind. Instead, she wanted to protect him. He was probably just skittish, is all! The nobles could be pretty stuffy!

“Hey, wait up..!” Genevieve called out, following closely behind him. She wasn’t going to let him just leave like that, either...especially since they were going to fight together! Even if the world was like this...connections could be made here, too! After all, she even found love, so certainly this boy could have a friend.

♞— It wasn’t like the vampire wasn’t use to violence by now. In fact he was more shocked that the girl was even willing to help him rather than just scoff and brush him off. Yet taking the handkerchief into his hands he gave the girl a small smile and bowed slightly to her. Pressing it up against his nose and let the blood drench the cloth as he merely continued to make his face feel better and not like he just got falcon punched in the nose.

❝ Sorry. For walking up on you like that, I’m River Atem…and you are? ❞

"No, no, I was the one who wasn't watching where I swung my fists!"

Watching the blood spread across the handkerchief, Genevieve grew more guilty -- he was a vampire, though, so he'd be alright soon. Even a human would survive a blow to the nose, so she didn't have to worry..!

As he introduced himself, Genevieve couldn't help but notice how cute he was -- despite them being the same height, she couldn't help seeing him as an adorable child that needed protection (she thought that about a lot of boys, anyway). Frown quickly turning to a bright smile like flipping a switch, she giggled.

"River Atem...what a beautiful name! I'm Genevieve, but you can call me Eve..! Or, are you not supposed to--? Hm, all those vampire rules are really stupid." She rambled on, not realizing that those words could have gotten her in trouble had someone more important been there and unaware of the fact that River probably was annoyed with her by now.

♞— Looking over at the girl River just sighed and wiped his nose. He didn’t care so much, she just had a stupid strong arm. Now blood was dribbling down his face and chin at an annoying rate. It was weird to think that she too was a noble, he could never see himself in such a position. In his eyes.. it was actually a bit disgusting. However, he was conditioned to think that way, shaking his head some he tried to brush off that fact and find something to use for his nose because the blood coming out was starting to get annoying.

❝ Do you have a tissue? ❞

Maybe it was the strong scent of blood, or maybe it was the familiarity of the place...either way, it got Genevieve excited (then again, a lot of things excited her). Hastily, she'd ran ahead, pointing out things to the lower vampires, arms stretched out, and as she bent one arm to stretch, she hadn't realized she'd hit one of her allies right in the face.

Drawing back, she started to fawn over the other, eyes wide with concern (and perhaps a lot bit of hunger.

"Oh, dear, I got carried away!" Genevieve fretted, pulling a handkerchief from one of her pockets. "Take this, it'll help you clean up..!"
