Updates!

So, I'm back in my old house! I'm kind of unbanished now? We have R's location now! If I didn't mention that before!

ALSO WE FOUND MY MOM! So thats amazing! Turns out she met R after I fell into that hole.

Learned some stuff about the 'Solver' as it's called. Turns out they aren't witches they're kinda just..cursed? I guess? Gives them powers with major downsides.

But yeah! Things are..better.

Hey, some updates. I'm out of the hole! And also traveling with two drones. They're cool, won't share too much about them for their privacy and stuff. We found out where R is, he's being held by some people called the recycling company or something? Not the best situation, and they seem to have our whereabouts, but still. Also I'm thinking about if I can do some kind of video broadcast, so you all can actually see what I look like.

She was a fellow waste liver. She lived in this big office building place in the industrial area. It was crawling with those sentinel things. Me and R had found ourselves there in search of oil. Alice didn't take kindly to us at first, but saw the hackjob I'd done with my arm and decided to show me the ropes of self-alteration. It's thanks to her my self-surgeries have gone so well. Sure it hurts to open yourself up and replace faulty parts, but I've learned to just bite down on a rag and get through it. Anything to stay running right? Plus she taught me how to identify good parts still in drone corpses. I got a lot out of our time together, and me and R would go visit her sometimes. It's a real shame what happened.. I had seen Doorman and her little group there some time before I'd went in. Found Alice's corpse. She'd gotten frozen by one of those things. Don't really know what happened next, but she was more than gone. I have her makeshift antlers in my bag, no matter how fucked up that sounds.. Needed something to remember her by ya'know? She was like a weird mother figure out here. I hadn't been able to see my real mom since I was kicked out of the colony. And now I'll never see my mom again. I wear mom's glasses now.

I refuse to become what the parts want me to be. I don't hunt, I don't kill, I scavenge, I manage. I was a bunker drone for a good while, but I kept sneaking out to feed scraps to R because he couldn't hunt us for the life of him. Not emotionally, I think he's fine with that, but he's not fast, he can't fly like the rest of them. He's large sure, but he's slow and disoriented. He's broken in way's I can't fix, mainly because I don't want to open up a friend. I have no way of sedating anyone, so he'd have to be awake. He always said he was fine how he was. In his way of saying it. He has a lot of trouble with words, but he's an expressive guy-

Anyway, they caught me feeding him and didn't take it lightly. I don't wanna raid anywhere or hurt anyone, no matter how hungry I get. I have had moments where I black out and nearly tear into someone. It's hard to control, but I'm the one who chose to replace my arm, my insides, to alter my teeth. I chose to live like this. Goddamn I'm rambling sorry, I'm so warm.

Whatever happened to him was caused by something, and yeah he's a disassembly drone.

Sometimes when I'd ask what happened to make him like this his voice would change when he answered, it'd get deeper, slightly more collected, and he'd say something almost incomprehensible about a tree and crows and a house? Something about 'forbidden memories', it's the only time he'd use a word that descriptive.

He never liked when Doorman and her gang were nearby. He'd tell me to stay away.

I don't know if he's alive. We lost each other during the split, after I fell. He was actually the one who tripped, but I caught him and used my pack's arms to fling him up and past me back onto stable ground. Did the momentum make me stumble off? Yeah. Would I change anything? No.

Shame they were dead. The one's I've met (other than R) haven't exactly been nice. One ripped off my arm, she was a real piece of work. Sure it hurts to open yourself up and replace faulty parts, but I've learned to just bite down on a rag and get through it. Anything to stay running right? Plus she taught me how to identify good parts still in drone corpses. I got a lot out of our time together, and me and R would go visit her sometimes. It's a real shame what happened.. I had seen Doorman and her little group there some time before I'd went in. Found Alice's corpse. She'd gotten frozen by one of those things. I was a bunker drone for a good while, but I kept sneaking out to feed scraps to R because he couldn't hunt us for the life of him. Not emotionally, I think he's fine with that, but he's not fast, he can't fly like the rest of them. He's large sure, but he's slow and disoriented. Something about 'forbidden memories', it's the only time he'd use a word that descriptive.
