An Arrow is a warrior first, but that isn't as narrow a calling as many suspect. For every frontline fighter who rends the horrors of the Abyss with bare hands and soul, there's a strategist who sees and manipulates the secret, struggling patterns of the world. Economic, ecological and more esoteric conflicts are studied, mastered and beaten into any shape an Arrow desires. Mages see reality as a many-layered thing, full of signs and movements invisible to the uninitiated. The Awakened art of war follows these patterns using a thousand techniques.

   Frente a mis ojos, danzaba el humo del café que iba a desayunar, la tostada mordisqueada en el plato. Mientras Derek, mi gato me miraba desde el otro lado de la encimera antes de maullar y saltar al suelo para alejarse hacia no sabia donde. Suena la campanilla de la puerta de la tienda, no es la hora de abrir pero me levanto dejando todo a un lado. Tengo una manía, coger una carta de la baraja que descansa en el mostrador para saber quién está al otro lado. Arqueo una ceja al ver cual es, la Fuerza y no es precisamente lo que me esperaba. -Buenos días y bienvenido. Aun no hemos...- replicó callándome al ver el rostro de la persona que estaba allí y esos ojos. Me devuelven a cuando era una niña, a Santiago, a aquel bosque donde conocí a ese niño que me regalo una flor azul realizada con magia y al que no volví a ver hasta mucho más adelante. Pero entonces me había olvidado y yo tuve que matar a su padre.Derek maúlla y fuera empieza a llover. La carta se desliza de entre mis dedos al suelo. Gira una vez antes de caer entre los dos boca abajo.
