Build a Community Challenge

So, I’m going to be starting a challenge with Agnes and Echo! This modified challenge takes certain aspects that I like from a few other challenges (The Settler challenge, @simalienn‘s After the Storm challenge and the Sim Crossing Legacy challenge mainly). I take no credit for the ideas in this challenge, I have just merged some existing ideas into one place and re-written the rules to make it more challenging for my own game-play.

Goals…

· Repopulate and build a community

· Lift all restrictions

· Unlock community lots

· Complete all collections - and display in your museum

I found it quite difficult using the long list of instructions for quick reference so have created an easy to follow mind map to keep track of goals/progress which you can access here, you can also edit and create your own copy on this link!

Orchid A Go Go Renovation

I absolutely hated this club with a passion, so i gave it a makeover! i tried to leave the layout open and wide because i noticed that sims tend to hoard together if a celebrity appears. I hope some of you also find this more tolerable than the ea original!

Windenburg Starter

A starter home in Windenburg for a single sim in the Tudor/German architecture style made using base game and Get Together only.

What bothers me about this particular lot is that there is terrain paint that matches the world but for some reason its 3 shades lighter??? Why tho.

Next lot up for grabs is Waterside Warble, renovated and relocated to Windenburg, because I don’t think San Myshuno needs multiple karaoke bars. Built on a 30x30 lot though, so it can be easily moved back if you prefer to keep it in the Spice District!

The first floor features a bar, open stage area, and a bathroom, while the second floor offers some private karaoke rooms. They’ve each got a photo backdrop + special effects machine, so you can mix and match to give your sims a fun background during their karaoke rounds. :) There is also ladder access to the topmost floor, which leads to a secret “bubble” room.

Playtested to ensure all the important bits are functional, can be downloaded from the gallery under the ID pixeldollhouse. Requires most of the packs, but no Batuu.

I never send my sims out clubbing because I hadn’t found a club venue I liked, so I decided to bite the bullet and take a stab at building my own from scratch.

Pandemonium is built on a 30x20 lot to replace Discothèque Pan Europa in Windenburg. In addition to a dance floor and a bar, the lower level features some private lounge rooms, a bonus bubble room, and champagne for bach party toasts. The upper floor contains two bathrooms, and some extra seating overlooking the dance floor.

Playtested to ensure all the important bits are functional, can be downloaded from the gallery under the ID pixeldollhouse. Requires most of the packs, including the new decor to the max kit, but no Batuu.

Concert at the Campsite

Happy Simblreen! How about a fall concert in the woods? Enjoy the end of October with a cup of drink watching your favorite band playing music.

*GAMEPLAY TIP with the Get Together EP: if you lock the fence gate to the stage to a certain band club members-only, you can easily let the concert begin by clicking ‘start gathering’ without your audience walking onto the stage! Yay!

Update of Rose Cottage (previously posted on this account) with updates to the whole house since the new country kitchen kit came out and brought us these amazing limestone bricks and flooring.

Rose cottage is so named because of the abundance of flora that grows here, this particular cottage is generational. It currently has rooms to house a younger parent with a child and a live in elder or in law.

This has been built using MOO and play tested for gameplay and all the basic elements are functional. Would recommend turning this cheat on before placing just in case.

Modern townhouses in Windenburg. One on the right is fully furnished for 2 adult sims (it was originally for the Behr sisters but I have other ideas now). Townhouse on the left is unfurnished, feel free to furnish it!

I challenged myself to use objects and colour combinations I don’t usually decorate with here, but I think I’m fully converted to colourful stuff now!
