Yes Aoshi is aware of Misao’s feelings. He never sees her as a child, if he did, he would not allow or take her on his missions.

Watsuki was interviewed before and he said they got married in the end so those there’s that.

although in the new comics, it seems like they are back to square one. But hoping someday we can finally see them together.

I couldn’t resist making this one, omg. I thought it was funny that the scene right before Misao changes clothes is Aoshi’s face staring intently at the screen. That was a super weird artistic choice.

So I just…put these in reversed order and then reversed Aoshi’s glare at Shishio because it makes this 200% funnier.
