As much as we all joke about our comfort shows actually being traumatic, this episode actually made me break down and cry. I’ve watched the whole series and shed some tears but never to the point I had to pause and recover. Seeing Lestat relive his assault while Louis read Claudia’s diary entry of her assault to Bruce made me remember my own experience.

Im sure I wasnt the only one that thought Magnus assaulted Lestat before he turned him but fuck was it hard to watch.

In a way I think most survivors would like our own version of Louis to seek revenge on our behalf. Shit, I thought it no longer affects me 11 years later but here we are.
