I have a lot of OTPs, spanning multiple fandoms. However, considering Eruri is my main focus these days, I will write about them.Â
As of me writing this, we have no word on their first date. But considering the content we got from the officials recently, who knows we might get a hint one day.Â
To me their first date wasnât really planned. Considering that both Erwin and Levi have high risk and high pressure jobs, I donât believe that they had many quiet times. However, I do want to base their first date on this picture. Where I think most of the fandom agreed that it was Leviâs first time seeing snow.Â
Taking that into consideration this is how I think their first date happened and how it went.Â
There have being months of mutual pining between the two. However, they never really acted on it because they just havenât had the time to sort their feelings out. Especially since things in the SC have being getting intense, especially since the winter months are just around the corner.Â
One day when things are beginning to wind down, the Commander Shadis was called to Central and Erwin accompanied him. Erwin took Levi with him because he has pretty much become SCâs best soldier at this point.Â
After talking to the nobles, they get some time off before they travel back next day. Shadis goes out to see some friends and Erwin wants to go visit Nile. However, just when he was going to invite Levi, he saw the man staring out. He never seen his eyes look so fascinated and enchanted.Â
Curious at gave Levi such an expression, Erwin walked beside him. Thatâs when he saw it was snowing.Â
Erwin realised, since Levi lived in the Underground his entire life he probably never seen snow. Also seeing such a fascinated and innocent expression in Leviâs face, made a rush of affection run through Erwin. Making him feel emotions he thought he purged himself from a long time ago.Â
It frightened Erwin how much he has in the last few months grown to care for this man, especially that said man tried to kill him not too long ago.Â
However, unlike with his previous experiences of falling in love, Erwin didnât run away from his affections from Levi. Something about Levi made Erwin stay and try and see where this will go.Â
After asking Levi, Erwinâs suspicions were true, this is the first time Levi has seen snow.Â
Erwin tells Levi thereâs a good spot he know where they can see it fall.Â
However, before they go there, Erwin realises Levi isnât wearing any proper snow clothes. So he takes him to a shop and insists Levi try some of the snow clothes on.Â
Levi is reluctant but indulges Erwin anyway. He finally chooses a warm coat and scarf and before he could do or say anything Erwin pays for it.Â
Levi gets kind of angry and he insists that he is not Erwinâs charity case and he can pay for it. Erwin reassures him telling him itâs just a gift and heâs being meaning to buy something for Levi as a present and this felt like this was a good time to do that.Â
Levi then is a bit confused why Erwin wants to buy a gift and Erwin admits because he enjoys having Levi in his life and this his way of thanking him. Levi blushes at that and wonders if Erwin realises what he said. As he looked into Erwinâs eyes, it dawns to him what was happening. Levi realises Erwin is taking the first step but itâs up to him to take the second one. It doesnât take long for Levi to make the decision, he was never much of a thinker, he always acted on what he thought was right.Â
Levi accepts the gift. Erwin then takes Levi into an abandoned Military Police base thatâs situated on top of the wall. Erwin was right, you could see the snow much better from here. Levi was especially enchanted by how the snow falls over the houses in Central. It gives this corrupt city an almost fantastical look.Â
Levi glanced at Erwin who was watching him instead of the snow. The taller man gets somewhat embarrassed about getting caught but he doesnât stop and instead smiles at Levi. It was a genuine smile, one of the fake ones that he give the politicians or the flirty one he gives the rich Lords and Ladies. when he wants their money. This was genuine smile and it looked kind off and made Erwin look like a dork. But Levi loved it.Â
Levi then pulled at Erwinâs scarf and tugged at it and Erwin learned down. Levi swallowed, nervous but he wanted to take the second stepâŚSo he leaned up and pressed his lips onto Erwin. The older man immediately reciprocated back.Â
They spent to rest of the afternoon in the little haven, watching the snow fall.Â
