Finally read the actual English translated version of Seiyuu-ka. 

The one chapter where Shiro goes to Senri's house for the first time and they say "you're incredible" to each other was a scene that seriously moved me way back when. They changed the line to "Good boy" and all I can think is how patronizing that statement is. 

Just goes to show you translation is interpretation.
