MQ's 2025 Fanfic Round-Up
It's been nearly ten years since I last did one of these annual posts! Returning to writing in July 2025, after 8 years of absence, was one of the year's biggest personal wins for me. It's still slow and difficult atm. I'm wrangling a fair bit of mental fatigue along with the more general issue of recovering a neglected skill, but the challenge makes the process all the sweeter! Writing remains my favorite thing to do with my brain.
The fic this year was a couple overdue updates for Nights of Hedonia, some languishing drafts completed, a couple snippets, and a handful of new stories including a WIP for Klaine Secret Santa, the completion of which is my top priority going into 2026.
All up, according to AO3, I shared 54,975 words of stories. \o/ Achievement! Massive gratitude to everyone who's chosen to take time for my work. It's such a gift.🫶
