To me, Satan represents the yin yang. The universe. All that exists. He is the most majestic, brightly glowing, and beautiful of all the angels, and simultaneously, he is the fallen, the darkest darkness, the evil to rule all evil. He represents all that is, all that ever has been, and all that ever will be. He is the full spectrum. He is honest, unabashed, unbridled, metal AF. He accepts all aspects of existence and experience. He encourages myriad experience for all. He wants you to dig in, to get your hands dirty, to live life full and hard and sensational. He wants you to have full access to knowledge, to understand, to open your mind to the reality of all that is. He is genuine. He is playful and clever and mischievous. He represents knowledge and intelligence and acceptance and inclusion. He exists in the darkest depths and originated from the purest, brightest light, from the highest height, embodying the spirit of the subversive, the rejected, the underbelly, the manure, the deranged, the pathological, the disturbed, the void and simultaneously, embodying the pure, innocent, bright shining, playful, childlike spirits as well. The copulation, the sown seed, the roots, the fire, the ash, the fertilizer, the open mind, the brilliant, the cracks and crevices, the supernova, the dirt, the glitz, the glimmer, the snake and the stone, the balance of all that exists. Fire forever. Infinite burn. The eternal flame. He fucking gets it. He is more God than the God of the Bible could ever be if you ask me…
God is all about fear, control, deception, violence, exclusion, patriarchal values etc.. I feel like God calling Satan the father of all lies is actually just gross projection on his part. :P
