love a movie where a man is just a little bit slutty. little bit submissive
I don’t want to do anything
hunt or be hunted part 1
it’s called house of the dragon because of the sheer amount of dragon-themed decor they managed to stuff into that house
one of the richest and oldest noble families in kings landing decorates like they're trying to audition their palace as a pirates of the caribbean set. because they made their fortunes in shipping and own a lot of boats.
this is so on the nose it's ridiculous

I watched A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms a little while ago on a whim (I was bored and every gif of Lyonel Baratheon that had come across my dash at that point was incredibly magnetic), which made my partner pitch watching House of the Dragon together.
While I have some Thoughts on the costuming for HotD in general, what I really cannot get over as someone who has a fair interest in historical clothing is that somehow, over the course of several hundred years, the silhouettes these characters wear have barely changed. We are stuck in fantasy medieval purgatory forever. Hello??? That's not how fashion works.
And I don't say this just because I like to complain. The same-y costuming makes it genuinely hard to feel like these stories take place centuries apart: there are no visual cues to help the viewer implicitly understand where each show falls on a timeline. If GoT costuming pulls inspiration from medieval and renaissance silhouettes, it stands to reason that HotD costumes should’ve pulled from early-to-middle Byzantine fashion or the like. Similarly, the great house sigils should be changing stylistically from one show to the next as artistic trends continue to develop over time.
I won't deny that AKotSK suffers the same issues, but at least the costumes feel much less costume-y on average.

i thought we all agreed we were here forever
yeah yeah the thumbry screenshot we've all seen it
how to cover letter:
polite greeting (it's me, boy)
introduction (i'm the ps5)
establish credentials (speaking to you inside your brain)
establish purpose (leave the girl, we don't need her)
describe what you can bring to the organization (cowboy times in space)
PETER CLAFFEY and DANIEL INGS as Duncan, The Tall and Lyonel Baratheon A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms - Season one, episode one.
The anger that drove the making of this is so palpable I can't stop laughing
Never been so glad i don’t let apps auto update lmfao this new rollout seems genuinely awful. Whoever greenlit the decision to implement it should be demoted
The beautiful ship coming in to harbor:
that picture of the little boy holding a puppy and smiling with the writing on the bottom that says hi daddy this is my doggy chelsea isn't she cute i love you and the picture of the cat with the writing that says our michael... pet photos of all time
