TEN ♡ SUPER MANGO FESTIVAL 2026
Ken Currie — Gifted Children V (oil on canvas, 1998)
Felix “ATE” Jacket MAKING FILM ft. Jilix
Stop vilifying adults that live with their parents.
We’re still deep in one of the worst economic recessions of modern times. For many of us its not a choice but a requirement in order to survive. For many of us we have disabilities that make finding accommodation that suit our needs a lot harder and a lot more expensive.
Many of us pay into the household. Many of us are trapped in abusive households because we don’t have the means to leave. We aren’t moochers or afraid to leave the nest. The world simply isn’t built to support us anymore.
This is actually an incredibly western (and specifically American) thing. In a lot of other countries and cultures it’s NOT AT ALL uncommon for an adult to still live with their parents. As a second generation immigrant, it’s BEWILDERING to me. My cousin still lives with our grandmother; it’s important. She needs someone to watch after her, and she has the space… why wouldn’t he? This obsession with “adults” being “fully independent” of their parents is a fully American, bizarrely capitalist notion and it needs to be stomped into the ground.
K-pop fans disliking Bigbang now from Seungri’s mess bugs me. Those four did nothing for you to blame your anger on them. The four tried to steer Seungri in the right direction, they’ve constantly called him out plenty of times even to the burning point of predicting a realistic picture in the future of Bigbang becoming four. That is the freaky aspect of this. It’s as if they’ve been anxious, fearing that he would screw up enough to destroy his image. Seeing the other four get black-lashed and spit on by k-pop blaming them for something they had no tribute or involvement in. Reminder of the ilhoon scanda o posted earlier about, it makes me ill when I saw TOP sentenced to probation for 10 months for smoking marijuana a couple times while the court is still playing around with Seungri like an ongoing game of only... TWO YEARS still fiddling around not coming to a proper sentence unlike his perverted pals, it’s sick. Back to the topic of my aggravation. Seungri started to only care about business than being an idol/singer. That started to show as the years went on. Illegal business too. It’s unfair to watch the other four get the same amount of blame and hate. It’s not shocking to me the slightest that Seungri got involved in such a tremendous scandal, it’s not his first time being in a ‘sex’ scandal. He’s another one who’s always known as a pervert. I’m not sure why this fandom is acting so shocked, unaware and surprised that he’d be involved in this kind of mess. Unless you’re a new vip which that seems to be an issue, newer joined ‘fans’ know nothing about his past let alone Bigbang don’t pretend you know enough to praise the agenda you create. You are not as aware as you wish.
