014 ☆ Excuse me, your heart is in my heart (Jesse&Willy)
-And I never truly understood why. - Jesse commented more to himself than to Willy, regretting his own words not even a minute later. He knew he should keep quite and avoid any issues able to lead them both to the awkward conversation about their pasts, but who said he was able to? The japanese just kept coming back in time, unconsciously searching for the perfect life he had before and which he lost because of his own stupid choices. He was as pathetic as possible. - I mean, why would someone bully you? Frankly?
And with this, another question came up between his thoughts: why would someone reject you? But Jesse did. And back at that moment, he felt like it was the best thing he could ever do for Willy, God knows why. And there the guilty rested. - New Zealand? Never went there… is it a nice place to live? - though it was almost the same as talking about the weather, Jesse couldn’t mind less, because worst that sounding stupid, was being left in the awkward silence, thinking of all kinds of shitty things.
Wasn’t that really curious? In Willy’s head, the Japanese never felt with him; he could even remember exactly his last words before leaving that University without a trace: “I never loved you, I lied all this time”. But there was Jesse, disaffirming himself after all that time. The brunette could even laugh at his face if he wasn’t so confused at that moment (and quite sad, let’s be true). Anyways, he just smiled. – I don’t know too. Maybe because I really was a weirdo or something like. I don’t really care, nowadays.
Jesse was a lucky guy because the long haired guy couldn’t read his thoughts – what doesn’t mean he did not want to. His gentle eyes were trying not only to see how handsome the other still were, but also to see through him when he restarted to talk. Laughing, the professor nodded in response. – It is. The weather is good and all the other stuff you used to worry about the places you wanted to live. But I don’t think I’d pay any attention to weather if you were with me, back then… - He was aware of his words, but Willy couldn’t help. The act thing was too heavy to carry on his shoulders forever, that’s why he said these things – always smiling. However, he regretted immediately and, looking at his watch, he stood up like that was too late (and it was, if you think about taking his words back).
I’m sorry, Jessmine, I got to go. See you around, huh?! – And that was how he left, not giving to Jesse the chance of answering. The only thing Willy probably gave him was the guilt feeling.
