is it okay if we take our characters to other groups and talk about their experience in septaneus or bringing up things specifically related to septaneus in general?

All of your characters’ memories and experiences are up to you to reference as you wish in any setting that will allow the usage of development from other RP groups. We ask that you do not use our setting itself elsewhere, but remembering and talking about Septaneus from your characters’ point of view is definitely okay! It will make us happy to think of you all taking a little piece of Septaneus with you even though we are unable to continue running the group ourselves ♥

Hello Septans, likely for the last (or perhaps second to last) time.

With school, work, and other real-life circumstances, we do not have the resources or the energy to provide you all with the story and roleplay experience that we'd like for you to have. It is with heavy hearts that the Septaneus moderation team announces that we're closing our doors very, very soon.

This was not a decision made lightly, but we would rather close our doors now instead of hoping that some of our schedules miraculously clear up to give us more time to work with all of you.

To everyone, thank you for the fun times! You, the member base, made Septaneus all that it was, and how you all interacted with the setting was unique and excited all of us on the moderation team. We hope that any friendships that you made here last for a long time. We're grateful that you saw fit to join us, and you all hold a special place in our hearts.

The Septaneus server will be locked at Midnight EST on September 13th, and everyone will be booted from the server on September 17th. This is to give you all time to collect screenshots as you need them, and to save threads you may be interested in keeping.

If there is another address here on the blog, it will simply be us releasing the lore so that you all have a better idea of where we were trying to take the story. It was only in it's preliminary stages, but we would love to show it to you all anyway.

Can we do something like a group feedback channel for how to liven up the server? It feels so empty and Im not sure how to get things going because its awkward when nothing is happening. Maybe people would have ideas?

Hello! We do definitely appreciate this suggestion. We will consider implementing it in the future, but we are planning on finishing and implementing our current projects in the server first, so that we may have the resources and time to give a feedback channel the attention it deserves. 

At the same time, if you or anyone else has suggestions or ideas for the group, you can either DM a mod or put it into our suggestions box, here.

Event End: Renaissance Fair

Today was an eventful day at the Renaissance Fair. The tournament occurred, the grand finale of the holiday, and its two winners were crowned! Congratulations to Ryuga Banjou and Athena for winning your brackets; we will be contacting you shortly to discuss when you would like to arrange to receive your prizes.

The night is filled with celebration, much of the city having seen the fights of the day, and then when morning comes… Forsythia Fairgrounds has returned to normal. The only evidence left over from the fair and the tournament is an obsidian obelisk near the entrance that wasn’t there during the Renaissance Fair, completely covered in names… now including the names of your new champions. It seems it serves as a small monument to tournaments past. Septans sure do love this tradition.

We hope that you all enjoyed our first event, and there will be more of those to come! Those of you familiar with the first iteration of Septaneus may have an idea of how things will soon begin to change… but in the meantime, there will be plenty of other content releases for the city. And to help us with that, for our final announcement of the day, we would like to announce that our current chat mods will be joining us as admins in the server, and introduce to you our new mods—Mio and Kat! With their help, we hope to make Septaneus the very best that it can be. Thank you all for your participation!
