the most occidentalist cnovel I ever binged via MTL was about a chinese guy reincarnating into europe right before the black plague & teaching the savage europeans how to cook food and do agriculture and industry properly and inventing an innoculation for the plague and he wound up gay marrying the sexy young pope & collecting a really unreasonable number of magical animal companions along the way, including a tiger. the tiger's introduction led to my favorite author's note in the following chapter, which was basically "I've been informed Europe doesn't have tigers but I don't really give a fuck" ... that was kind of charming.
The backrooms was interesting, but it would have been better if it was about a naive rich teen trying to learn the nature of the mysterious incident which ended his family and the golden witch Beatrice on a private island off the coast of Japan

The three essential blasphemies of contemporary gaming:
First-person shooters where you gun down angels
RPGs where you kill God at the end
Metroidvanias where you fight the Pope

good thing about studying hand anatomy is that I remember my dad calling carpal tunnel syndrome "carpe diem syndrome" that one time
It's not wrong that people's deep hatred of Erdoğan is clouding their judgement and understanding but it is really hard to not despise that us-israel's dog.
But things wouldn't change if CHP was appointed. Those dogs are no better, and would support genocide under the shadows like AKP does. So I can understand the frustration with the discussion regarding turkey's support of us and israel going to Erdoğan everytime when the rot goes much deeper than that.

it's only 34 votes so far but even then I am baffled that afghanistan has the most number of people calling it middle east. I only added the "only afghanistan" option as a formality I didn't think people would actually vote for it. You consider afghanistan middle east but not turkey? fucking turkey?? really????
Which of these three countries do you consider a part of the "Middle East"?
Only Egypt
Only Turkey
Only Afghanistan
Egypt and Turkey
Egypt and Afghanistan
Turkey and Afghanistan
All three
None

If you could steal one thing from another ancient what would you want?
In English if you are using a pronoun that exists in it already, it's redundant to write the object pronoun, but just saying "she" sounds weird. So we say "she/her" instead.
But if you wanted to write your pronouns in Kurmancî, you'd *have to* write the oblique case because the third person pronoun is the same in the nominative case for both. So, she/her is "ew/wê" and he/him is "ew/wî". If you use both you could say "ew/wê/wî" which is fun
