Welcome to the Echadic blog
My name is Judah Akiva. I’m in my latter twenties and I am from an Orthodox Jewish background. I was raised on Torah study, and in my adult years fell in love with the study of Kabbalah and finding ways to incorporate it into my daily life.
I consider myself to be a Mysticism practitioner, and a witch of folk magic. I have had a heightened psychic and mystic capability my whole life
(yet since I am also someone who trusts more a book, evidence, and history, I will not be using my personal experiences and insight to guide my theological determinations more than what I can acquire from study however it does influence some of my personal practices.)
I often practice meditation on various husks of the Sefirot planes; and invoking the names and aspects of Gd and divine guardians/messengers.
“Echadic Mysticism” is a subset of Jewish mysticism I have been formulating during my studies that focuses on Kabbalah, oneness, meditation, symbolism, historical context, and folk practices; in a very simple explanation.
I plan to document my studies here
