There’s something so ironic to toji being misinterpreted as a cold, toxic situationship that constantly cheats on you. you mean the same guy that gave up everything in his life he ever knew for his wife? everything. the toji that changed his last name to his wife's? the guy who found hope in the only woman he ever loved after being in a toxic environment for years? the one who could only think of his son during his last moments? and the guy who kept thinking about his son in that resurrected form?? toji is a YEARNER.
He changed EVERYTHING, all the bad habits he had for her.
Toji is the kind of man who would absolutely spoil his wife, give her whatever is necessary to assure her happiness. He’d wait for her at work with freshly bought food and a smile on his face. the kind that would notice even the smallest of things that she likes instead of asking. and the type to have always wanted to start a family with her, to be the father of her kids.
He went absolutely mental when she died, he was truly off the rails. everything he’d ever loved, gone. forever. All the light he had ever experienced, the bliss he felt for the brief years spent together. He lost all will he ever had and could no longer be the who he was.
Honestly, I love toji and how he can seem cold or indifferent but my man is NOT toxic or a cheater. I just know he could have been the best husband there was and I love him for that.
